Now here’s something very soothing after a rowdy weekend…have a listen to Never Letting Go by brand new artist GREG FREEMAN.

Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona the melodic rocker is looking to release his three track EP in November, produced and written by the man himself. With that real classic raspy/bluesy vocals and the lone acoustic guitar, this Sterling Studio Productions recruit has definitely found the winning recipe.

Song of the Day: Rabbit Hole – Rhode

Today’s song is Rabbit Hole by Corry Compton, Matt See, Tyler Brumback and Travis Guidry aka RHODE. The single is the first release of their upcoming EP.

Formed in 2012 in the back streets of Sulphur, Louisiana the alternative rockers said their latest work offers a different way of thinking about personal experiences.

Song of the Day: Trust – Major Minus

After listening to today’s track, I’ve mistaken the four-piece band MAJOR MINUS for well seasoned musicians with a string of acclaimed albums in circulation. In fact the Californian-based rockers (who are aged between  16-18!) just released their debut self-titled EP.

The band’s experimental sound with clashing guitar riffs and powerful vocals caught the attention of  prominent figures in the music industry, including Grammy-nominated producer Ghian Wright (Paul McCartney, Oasis, John Legend), who worked with the teenagers on  their EP.

With live performances at  The House of Blues and Club Nokia, this young rock band is definitely the one to watch…go and see what all the fuss is about and listen to Trust.

Song of the Day: The M-Path -The Optical Illusion

It’s been a while since brothers Keith and Wayne Cousin – aka OPTICAL ILLUSION – graced us with their presence on NEW LEASE MUSIC. After lengthy periods in the studio, they’re now armed with a couple of alternative rock releases, with The M-Path being one of them. Check it out, cos this track is too cool for school!

The M-Path is now available on iTunes…and while you’re at it, you might as well check out their other new release, Desperation right here. Enjoy!

Song of the Day: Cusp – Forebear

Today’s song is Cusp by Los Angeles-based indie rock band, FOREBEAR. The single is coming from their debut self-titled EP.

The band came to life in early 2014, when frontman Scott Goldbaum and Molly Rogers (viola, vocals) join forces with Mike Mussleman (drums) and Nick Chadian (bass). Each member have worked with various artists/bands including Feist, Randy Jackson, Keith Urban and Bastille.

After a few months into their existence, the four-piece rockers caught the attention of famed producer/engineer Scott Gordon (Alanis Morissette, Ringo Star) and the result was their debut  EP.  Cusp made it to today’s hot spot as it features Goldbaum’s stream of conscious lyrics, Molly’s  brooding viola solos and a velvety  rock drive that’s rarely found today.

FORBEAR EP is available right here.
