Mixtape Review: Olde English – Travis Boykin
When TRAVIS BOYKIN (formerly known as AMOR FATIII) approached me with the effortlessly smooth tracks, Payday and Edge of the Cliff Livin’, I suspect his fresh and velvety take on hip-hop would be the theme throughout his debut mixtape, Olde English released last month.
Still retaining the smoothness , the 10-track project also feature warm hints of old-school blues and jazz, which I did not expect from the laid-back Tennessee emcee – but, hands down, it was a pleasant surprise.
Olde English is the perfect mixtape for kicking back with some friends… that’s if you don’t mind the gigantic burp at the end! Have a listen and enjoy!

It’s been a while since this hip-hopper was featured on NEW LEASE MUSIC with the track Edge of the Cliff Living (under the name AMOR FATIII). He returns as TRAVIS BOYKIN, with another epic track, Payday. The 3-minute production is the lead single to his EP, Olde English, out 30th September.
