Teenage emcee DOPE SOULL returns with his latest project, Rap Is Life released on 6th June.

While most rappers use quitted-witted and laugh-out-loud wordplay, this upriser used hard-hitting lyrics of (as the title of the mixtape indicates) his unflappable love for hip-hop over seriously chilled out beats.

He once said on NEW LEASE MUSIC that his music ‘provides knowledge for the young generation’. In fact all generations can relate to his soul-tugging lyrics- and it’s definitely displayed in the 11-track production. So feel his love and hunger for hip-hop through Rap Is Life right here.

Today’s song is I Need Your Love by R&B singer/songwriter JOBEE. Track is coming from his five-track EP, Love Addiction,  now available in the UK.

Originally hailing from New Orleans, JOBEE – real name Joseph McKeel – was in the US Army for eight years.  Having swapped the military for the studio, JOBEE never looked back.

Influenced by soul, gospel and jazz, his classic soulful vocals coupled with his stamp on classic, hour-afters R&B haven’t gone unnoticed. The smooth operator was nominated for an Independent Music Award after performing at the Canadian Music Festival and was featured on the award-winning, singersroom.com, known for recognising talent.

Having gained recognition in the US and Canada,  JOBEE is more than ready to cross the pond and conquer the UK.
