MUJA & DUB SONATA enlist Tragedy Khadafi for a truth dart session with ‘Break The Stereo’. The aggressive track scores the MC’s raw diatribes with stern drums and ominous instrumentation, creating a chance for minds to be opened all over the globe.
Minneapolis-based Muja was named the city’s best hip-hop artist by City Pages in 2009, named in VIBE’s “51 Best Myspace Rappers” list, and picked as one of URB’s “Next 1000”. He can be heard on a number of Atmosphere LP’s, and has an EP titled Saran Rap, fully produced by Roc Marciano, which dropped on Man Bites Dog Records in 2017.
Dub Sonata has produced for Jidenna, Rhymefest, Sage Francis, Nature, Vordul Mega, Guilty Simpson, & more. His own releases have received accolades & critical praise from the likes of URB & Okayplayer, with the latter calling his Nights In Cuba LP “as relevant musically as it is politically”.
