Hip-hop veterans 3KNGZ come back stronger with their illest beat and flow to date. As always, these guys drop a powerful message in their tracks…see if you can work it out. Go on, check it out.
Song of the Day: Peace Of Mind – Stephanie Santiago
Today’s stunning song by London-born songbird STEPHANIE SANTIAGO is sure to pull a few heartstrings…it’s very rare I do this, but I urge you to have a listen and grab a copy via SoundCloud. To be honest, you’ll be a fool not to.
New Music Video: Nowhere Road – Kings Of Lowertown
The maestro of low down dirty blues Mike MacKey, otherwise known as KINGS OF LOWERTOWN, released a black and white visual to the latest single Nowhere Road, from his upcoming EP of the same name.
The three-and-a-half minute production features model, actor and Algonquin dancer Josée Bourgeois and was mostly filmed at Ottawa Valley, where the emerging bluesy rocker call his home.
Produced by veteran musician Jordon Zadorozny, Nowhere Road sports a crispy light bluegrass feel, bearing slight influence of Tom Waits.
Nowhere Road EP will be released from 31 October through Bandcamp.
But for now, enjoy the video (directed by Matt LeMay from LeMay Media)
New Music Video: Royal Blood – Sound Glyphics
It’s almost two years since rock extreme experimentalists SOUND GLYPHICS graced NEW LEASE MUSIC with their 2013 EP, A Cacophony of Toots, Hoots, Cackles and Wails. Now the Canadian four-piece band are back with (I have to say) an improved and more refined effort, Royal Blood released late last month.
Their accompanied visual features a confused stranger mysteriously awakens in an abandoned house only to find that he is being led by the spirits that control everything that happens within. It’s one compelling video, why don’t you check it out!
Royal Blood is available to download via their website.
Video Directed by Nik Pilecki (Hungry Boy Productions)
Song of the Day: Motives – Courtney Bennett
COURTNEY BENNETT drops the audio to her debut, self-penned single Motives which is taken from her forthcoming EP He(art) Dealer. The singer/songwriter/rapper from West London has built her name in music circles and has fans in artists such as Jhene Aiko, M.I.A, Big Sean, Missy Elliot, Erykah Badu and Raekwon before the rest of the big wide world has got to know her.
After covering and interpreting on YouTube classic and modern hits, she has built a massive following with over 5 million YouTube hits and over 60,000 subscribers!
Now it’s time for the free-spirited songbird to let the world hear her own music…check out the seriously dope and laid-back, Motives.
