New Music Video: Come My Way – Benjamin AD

Self-proclaimed ‘rhythmic philosopher’ BENJAMIN A.D. returns with a eye-catching black and white visual to brand new track, Come My Way released on Friday.

The South London rapper endeavors to cover issues that relate to the daily lives of his audience and encourages them to connect with the track on a personal level.

The loneliness encountered by the artist whilst traversing this internal struggle is captured perfectly by the theatrical monochrome visuals for the track, directed by Miloflembo and Dir Lx, who “wanted to make the viewer ask questions, with many hidden meanings behind each scene” explaining that “the whole story is not what it would seem.”

Both directors worked with BENJAMIN A.D. on his last single, Monster’s Ball, with Dir Lx being known for his numerous SBTV freestyles. The film noir-style video fits perfectly with the eloquent rhymes and tight production of the track and received praise from the likes of The Source and RWD.

EP Review: Work With Me – Workerz

workersz EP cover

Work with Me EP is the third release within a year from French producer  Jean-Patrick Simonetti, better known as WORKERZ.

Released late last month Simonetti, who formerly made one half of experimental dance group Les Petits Pilous, cleverly give Detroit-style (and almost tribal) club bangers that bold, hip-hop attitude with the help from (and well executed) by rappers  Gita and Adian Coker.

We may be in winter now, but this four-track package serves well to brighten up those dark nights.

Work With Me is now available via iTunes.
