Song of the Day: Everything – Feexer

Today’s song is Everything By Italian-born rock artist FEEXER. The single is from his debut EP, Diamonds and Defects, released in June.

Starting out last year, FEEXER released a collection of songs online and gain some exposure through SoundCloud, expanding his online fanbase. This is thanks his smooth blend of  indie pop, acoustic rock and electronica which bear strong elements of  his main influences which include NIRVANA, RADIOHEAD and A PERFECT CIRCLE.

The indie rocker is now working on new material – so expect more releases in months to come and live shows in 2015…but for now take time out and listen to Everything. If this track hit the spot, have a listen to his EP right here. Enjoy!

Song of the Day: Locked Inside – Camera Soul

camera soul

For all you jazz lovers out there, I have a REAL treat for you! Today’s song is Locked Inside by Italian Jazz -funk group CAMERA SOUL. The track is coming from their second album, Not For Ordinary People.

Consisting a lineup of world-class musicians (including singer Serena Brancale and veteran composer-arrangers, brothers Piero and Pippo Lombardo) CAMERA SOUL creates a blissful infusion of  jazz and soul which puts me in the mind of INCOGNITO, BRAND NEW HEAVIES and perhaps EARTH, WIND AND FIRE. Their chill out stamp on jazz hasn’t gone unnoticed as they topped the UK Soul chart last year and was named one of the Best Acts by BBC’s  The Paul Miller Soul Show.

Take time out and listen to Locked Inside – this spine-tingling track is a true testament that they deserve the recognition – and a place on the UK Soul chart.

If you become an instant fan of CAMERA SOUL after listening to Locked Inside, check out their album, Not For Ordinary People on Bandcamp and say hi to them on Twitter @Camera_Soul.

Star song: F.L.Y – T.O.M project

tom project

Today’s song is F.L.Y (Fucking Love You) by Italian alternative rock band T.O.M PROJECT. The single is coming from their debut EP, The Selfish Love Manifesto, released in March.

T.O.M PROJECT which stands for Temibile Orchestra Meccanica (Fearsome Mechanical Orchestra) is like PINK FLOYD, DAVID BOWIE and RADIOHEAD rolled  into one. A little hard to imagine? Well have a bash at F.L.Y – the DAVID BOWIE- esque vocals works brilliantly with the melodic and slightly aggressive sound of the guitar. Simply angelic.

If this chilled out single is right up your street, you can head over to their SoundCloud page where you can check out their EP.
