Song of the Day: Trust – Major Minus

After listening to today’s track, I’ve mistaken the four-piece band MAJOR MINUS for well seasoned musicians with a string of acclaimed albums in circulation. In fact the Californian-based rockers (who are aged between  16-18!) just released their debut self-titled EP.

The band’s experimental sound with clashing guitar riffs and powerful vocals caught the attention of  prominent figures in the music industry, including Grammy-nominated producer Ghian Wright (Paul McCartney, Oasis, John Legend), who worked with the teenagers on  their EP.

With live performances at  The House of Blues and Club Nokia, this young rock band is definitely the one to watch…go and see what all the fuss is about and listen to Trust.

Song of the Day: Wild – Tru Fam (Ft. King Faro)

Following the release of the MICHAEL JACKSON – inspired track, Janet Jean, alternative hip-hop duo TRU FAM take their sound to another level with the bold and head-rolling effort, Wild. Relax for five minutes and check it out!

Wild is produced by King Faro

EP Review: L.O.V.E (Letters of Various Emotions) – Jai Love

Jai Love LOVE

Singer/songwriter JAI LOVE puts all her cards on the table and pours out every inch of emotion through her debut EP, L.O.V.E (Letters of Various Emotions), released last month via Bandcamp. With super-smooth arrangements of after hours/old school R&B and hip-hop, the 5-track EP displays this Alabama songstress has every potential to make it to the top. #RealTalk.

Song of the Day: Janet Jean – Tru Fam

Twin Duo TRU FAM recently dropped a highly sensual number, Janet Jean. Inspired by MICHAEL JACKSON’s hit  Billie Jean, the New Jersey emcees uses array of sedated sound effects with auto-tuned vocals, giving the 1980 classic a completely new lease of life – go check it out!
