New Release: Superhero – Wullae Wright

wullae wright superhero

WULLAE WRIGHT’s  latest effort, Superhero is now available on Bandcamp. The single is the second release from his album The Orange Line.

The chillingly-smooth and heart-tugging single is about the effects cancer has on the sufferer and loved ones. Released through Macaroni Penguin Music Record Label, Superhero is very personal to the Scottish indie rocker as he lost both grandparents to the disease.  All sales of the single will go to Scottish Cancer Charity.

So go ahead and listen to Superhero and support a great song with a great cause. Enjoy!

Album review: Year 0 – Atlum Schema

Year 0

It took two and a half years for Andy Mort aka ATLUM SCHEMA to mould and perfect his latest album Year 0…and it must have been worth the ride as the 10-track production didn’t fail to disappoint.

Released last month, Year 0 boasts the purest melodies in which the Leamington-based smooth rocker’s simple and crisp vocals perfectly delivers the story of loss, the frailty of the human body and potential strength of the human spirit.

Initially an acoustic production, Year 0 I grew into  an atmospheric and ambient affair with slight burst of electronic sounds, a combination that bodes well for a great listening on those lazy days or a relaxing evening.

Have a listen to Year 0

Bleach on the rocks

Star Song: Here and There- Rushil

rushillToday’s song is Here and There by indie rocker RUSHIL. The track is coming from his debut album, Oscillations, released in January.

Indian-born RUSHIL always had an unflappable passion for music, hailing THE FRAYS, JAMES MORRISON, BOB DYLAN and ERIC CLAPTON as his biggest influence. From the age of 14, he formed a band with his friends and at that point he had the burning desire to become a credible artist. Fate was on his side when a producer spotted his raw talent and under his guidance, RUSHIL started producing his own material which led to his standout debut album.

If you haven’t heard of RUSHIL, the easy-cruising Here and There is the perfect introduction, as you get to experience his smooth and slightly-husky-typically-rock vocals – absolutely stunning!

If you love the sound of Here and There, take a trip to iTunes, where you can check out the album Oscillations. For now, check out his equally cool but hard-hitting video to Here and There – brilliant!
