Teenage emcee DOPE SOULL returns with his latest project, Rap Is Life released on 6th June.

While most rappers use quitted-witted and laugh-out-loud wordplay, this upriser used hard-hitting lyrics of (as the title of the mixtape indicates) his unflappable love for hip-hop over seriously chilled out beats.

He once said on NEW LEASE MUSIC that his music ‘provides knowledge for the young generation’. In fact all generations can relate to his soul-tugging lyrics- and it’s definitely displayed in the 11-track production. So feel his love and hunger for hip-hop through Rap Is Life right here.

Today’s song (or should I say songs) are The Plug x I Got My Shhh by AMIR DRIVER. These tracks are the 4th and 5th episode of his miniseries, The Sneak Is Watching.

In The Plug  Driver, still on the hunt for his prized sneaker, gets a call directing him to the plug for his desired kicks.  I Got My Shhh is more of a celebratory moment, as he rejoices after finally finding what he’s been on the hunt for all day! Both episode is produced  by Nicky Jay.
