Dallas-based spitter PATRICK LADON dropped his latest project, The Southern Poetry last month, reflecting on issues when growing up.

Starting off chocolate smooth, I must warn you, the lyrics of this 13 track production goes all hard (particularly with his experience on interracial dating) with progressively infectious groove to match.

Intrigued? Well start off with Formation. This four-minute banger displays the street poet and the gang hard at work – and at their very best. The rhythmic ‘gong’ with an intermittent electronic drive is finished off with on-point wordpay from each member. (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!)

With an after hours groove coupled with chocolate-smooth delivery to match Body Part is the type of track is definitely for the bedroom department (use your imagination!)
