EP Review: Mirrors Episode 1 – Fly Anakin

Mirror episode

If you’re a fan of SLUM VILLAGE, well here’s a perfect Christmas gift from me – Mirrors Episode 1 from Richmond- based emcee FLY ANAKIN.

This 5 Track EP features on-point 90s hard-hitting hip-hop with delicate and introspective sounds. Mirrors Episode 1 was produced by fellow emcee and producer EWONEE – if you’re not familiar with this guy, his tracks are HOT, HOT, HOT! Sample his work by checking out his collaborative mixtape with STANLEY IPKUSS, Indefinite.

But  for now, have a listen to Mirrors Episode 1 and download a copy for FREE! Merry Christmas!

Mixtape Review: Potty Mouth Vol. 2 – JaySIN

Potty Mouth Vol 2

JAYSIN resurface once again with his latest release Potty Mouth Vol.2 . The 12 track mixtape displays the young emcee’s super rapid flow, questioning the meaning of life and the obstacles that comes out of nowhere and presents itself.  The beats featured in this project definitely surpass the preceding mixtape, Potty Mouth Vol.1 – each track sports an easy-cruising and a smoother, quality-perfect bassline. Check it out here.

EP Review: Supersize Everything – Futuro

supersize Everything Futuro

Daniel Ahlgren, Marcus Dennerstedt and Andreas Säfström -aka- FUTURO – have perfectly signed off the year with their latest release, Supersize Everything.

The EP features the Swedish trio’s contemporary spin on the good old 80’s style synth pop, drawing inspiration from Empathy Test, Royksopp, Chvrches… and maybe a hint of A-Ha. A great addition to any new waver’s music collection.

#TheMustListens: Panorama (check out the video here), Forever Delayed

Supersize Everything is now available on iTunes.
