New Track! Ooh Girl – Jovanie

Brooklyn-based R&B singer JOVAINE makes his debut with his latest single, Ooh Girl coming from the 11 track album, WHAT’S THE MOVE PT II (expected release date 30th October).

At 14, JOVAINE is already an online phenomenon with massive followings across the social media spectrum, fast finding a fervent fan following with his presence, natural talent, and remarkable vocal tone. The Atlantic Records recruit has been pursuing his musical career for more than half his life, devoting his amazing energy to both school and his extracurricular dreams.

He lit the internet on fire with 2013’s viral smash, Heartbreaker, leading to a string of high-profile live appearances, spanning from VH1’s A Night In Paris concert special to performing the National Anthem at NYC’s historic Madison Square Garden.  The smooth teenager also joined Ne-Yo as special guest on his annual “Giving Tour,” prompting the 3x GRAMMY® Award-winning superstar to declare him “an incredible artist on the rise”.

WHAT’S THE MOVE PT II is available for pre-order at iTunes.

New Music Video: Nowhere Road – Kings Of Lowertown

The maestro of low down dirty blues Mike MacKey, otherwise known as KINGS OF LOWERTOWN, released a black and white visual to the latest single Nowhere Road, from his upcoming EP of the same name.

The three-and-a-half minute production features model, actor and Algonquin dancer Josée Bourgeois and was mostly filmed at Ottawa Valley, where the emerging bluesy rocker call his home.

Produced by veteran musician Jordon Zadorozny, Nowhere Road sports a crispy light bluegrass feel, bearing slight influence of Tom Waits.

Nowhere Road EP will be released from 31 October through Bandcamp.

New Music Video: Royal Blood – Sound Glyphics

It’s almost two years since rock extreme experimentalists SOUND GLYPHICS graced NEW LEASE MUSIC with their 2013 EP, A Cacophony of Toots, Hoots, Cackles and Wails. Now the Canadian four-piece band are back with (I have to say) an improved and more refined effort, Royal Blood released late last month.

Their accompanied visual features a confused stranger mysteriously awakens in an abandoned house only to find that he is being led by the spirits that control everything that happens within. It’s one compelling video, why don’t you check it out!

Royal Blood is available to download via their website.
