New Track! Love, Need You – Kriswontwo (ft.Omar)

Danish producer KRISWONTWO unveils his new single, Love, Need You, featuring esteemed British soul singer OMAR, known for his collaboration with Junior Giscombe and Leee John under The British Collective moniker.

The track blends mellow beats, spacey sounds and jazzy textures with Omar’s smooth vocals, and is taken from KRISWONTWO‘s first full length album, due for release on 14th September through Someothaship. This follows the success of his 2014 collaboration with Georgia Anne Muldrow on her Ms. One EP, which charted on Billboard and was in heavy rotation on BBC 6Music with the support of Gilles Peterson.

New Track! The Becoming – ICIE

The Becoming is the latest record from North London rapper ICIE, and comes off his brand new EP, The Phoenix.
The four-and-a-half production documents many struggles and dichotomies of masculinity that men must journey through in today’s society while accompanied by a shuddering beat by Johnny Juliano.
It seeks to celebrate the men trying their best to inhabit every role required of them, while serving as an open book for women to better understand their partners.
This is the lead single from the EP, and is out now on all digital platforms.

Upcoming Release: Release Me – The Phantom Sound

THE PHANTOM SOUND are ready to drop their latest effort, Release Me which is the 2nd single from their self-titled debut album out in October.

The indie rock/pop band is heavily influenced by frontman Marisa’s love for the late 70s and early 80s punk and new wave movements, gaining inspiration from artists such as David Bowie, Roxy Music, Blondie, The Ramones, and Duran Duran.

She’s been fortunate to work with several excellent and accomplished artists on this album. Ken Stringfellow of the Posies, Big Star, and R.E.M. is producing the album as well as playing on it. Clem Burke, drummer of Blondie, plays on several of the tracks and Pierre DeReeder, bass player from Rilo Kiley also contributes, among other talented musicians.

Her single, Get to Me, was the top voted song on Charlie Ashcroft’s Audition Show, and has had various radio plays around the U.S. and U.K. She wrote and recorded this album in Berlin, Amsterdam, London, and Paris. Originally from Los Angeles, Marisa now lives in London.

Upcoming release: Sunshine – Nay Nay

Fresh from performances for Juicy Couture at Westfield and for Nando’s at this years Lovebox festival, alongside Lion Babe and Ella Eyre, NAY NAY  has released the video for her forthcoming club  filler Sunshine.

The visuals, filmed across Coachella festival in Palms Springs, LA and Wireless festival in London, features cameos from super model Jourdan Dunn, reality TV star Vas J Morgan and TV and radio presenters Sarah-Jane Crawford and Manny Norte amongst other industry juggernauts.

Sunshine showcases NAY NAY’s prolific, commanding vocals, whilst complementing the soulful two-step dance beat. Co-written with Disturbing London’s wizkid Jay Warner and produced by hit maker Booker T, the track expands upon transitional dance music whilst highlighting the South Londoner’s vocal flair.

No stranger to chart success, NAY NAY is renowned for commanding the national airwaves as the vocal powerhouse behind the platinum certified, Garage classic Bodygroove. With previous hits like Show Me The Money, Phaze One’s (Wiley) Nicole’s Groove, as well as nominations for a BRIT Award and MOBO Awards, in recognition for her stunning vocal talents, NAY NAY  is poised to embed her powerful lyrical gift into the 2015 music scene with the four-minute
summer dance anthem!
