Album Review: Pieces of Me – Malynda Hale

Malynda Hale

Since her last appearance on NEW LEASE MUSIC with single Hey Stranger, I always wondered what happened to songstress MALYNDA HALE. Six months down the line,  the curiosity was quashed when she slipped me her full-length album, Pieces Of Me.

With lessons of love, heartbreak and self-discovery all faced with unflappable optimism, the 11-track collection boasts seamlessly soothing soundscapes of modern R&B, pop and at times drive-time rock, with are all lifted by that classically rich soulful vocals.

This lady hasn’t lost her touch; it’s worth investing your time to check out this treasure via iTunes.

Must Listens: Gray, Falling, Better Than Nothing, Pieces Of Me.

New Track! Dreams – Tammy J

Tammy J Dreams

From singing at the age of five to winning the Urban X-Factor in 2012, TAMMY J has surfaced and set to make waves with her first of many singles, Dreams.

Released on New Year’s Day, this three-minute effort gives an insight into the R&B songstress’ hopes, fears and sheer determination of reaching her goals over an atmospheric and chilled-out composition.

As well as forging a place on the scene, the Londoner is currently studying law and is expecting to graduate this year. Wish her well on Twitter @TammyJMusic and watch the video to the single, shot in LA.

Dreams is available on iTunes.

New Track! Matter Of Time: Kyle Lettman (ft. Coco Dupree)

KYLE LETTMAN teamed up with fellow UK singer Coco Dupree on for the brand new, 90s-inspired slow jam single, Matter of Time. The super-smooth effort is coming from his five-track EP Under Construction.

The R&B crooner also teamed up with production duo, Distant Light (who previously worked with him earlier this year with track, Mind) for the remix for Matter of Time, infusing the R&B sounds with a hint of garage.

Lettman has enjoyed considerable success  with the re-make of Artful Dodgers’ hit Moving Too Fast,  gaining support across the BBC, Kiss and Capital Networks.
