Song of the Day: Kemosabe – NoMBe

NowMbe

Having previously scored success with California Girls, which stole the #1 spot on both the Spotify US Viral Top 50 and the Hype Machine popular chart, NoMBe dropped another avant-garde single Kemosabe released late last month.

Featuring dreamy soundscapes with NoMBE‘s bluesy and sultry vocals, the three-minute Nu-Soul banger is set to continue the much deserved hype as it already seen support from SPIN, Hypetrak and Wonderland, as well as peaking at #2 on the Hype Machine.

Hailing from Heidelberg in Germany, 23-year old Noah McBeth relocated to L.A in 2013 and has since taken the scene by storm, turning his hand to producing a number of up-and-coming artists alongside working on his own signature sound.

Come on, experience the future of soul music and listen to Kemosabe.

New Music Video: Where Are We – Manze Raider (ft. Ruell)

Following the release of track Where Are We,  MANZE RAIDER has dropped a striking music video this week. The single is from his upcoming debut EP of the same name.

Expecting to drop 6th November, the E.P features two tracks (Where Are We and Delilah) where the Sheffield-born producer/artist creates a vibe that has flashbacks to 90’s raves in the warehouses of Sheffield, mixed with futuristic soul; an eclectic mix that is a cross between old school greats like Shy FX and Goldie and new school kids like Chase n Status, mixed with a sprinkling of electronic synths reminiscent of the Prodigy.

Where Are We takes a soulful stance with a deeper lyrical content from Ruell over a chilled D&B beat. In contrast to the energetic Delilah, Where Are We displays Raider’s ability to capture a more haunting ambience through varying uses of syncopated drum beats and acoustic instrumentation.

Where Are We EP is now available to pre-order on iTunes.
