BISHOP NEHRU‘s self-written and produced track ‘Emperor’, sees him go it alone to take the mantle and ascends from bubbling underground MC to one of the most hard working rappers today.

Bishop Nehru has been one of hip-hop’s most intriguing and prolific wunderkinds of recent time, after praise from Nas, Kendrick Lamar and DOOM as soon as he stepped onto the scene. Now, with this career defining new LP, ‘Nehruvia: My Disregarded Thoughts’, Bishop is ready to take a seat next to the peers that have been championing him for so long.
Due for release on May 8th 2020 independently, ‘Nehruvia: My Disregarded Thoughts’ sees Bishop take the reins as lead producer and enlists long-time collaborator DOOM on album highlight ‘meathead’, as well as DJ Premier for Too Lost.
Divided into two acts—‘The Abyss’ and ‘The Escape’— ‘My Disregarded Thoughts’ is Bishop’s most ambitious, introspective and purposeful project to date and the culmination of ten years of personal and artistic growth. ‘The Abyss’ narrates the darker side of Bishop’s mind and life. Conversely, ‘The Escape’ features some of Bishop’s most upbeat tracks lyrically, as he leaves his darker thoughts behind.
