SlickdotR

SLICKDOTR takes on  Kamikaze/Treble Clef’s Old School hit, Ghetto Kyote, putting a real slick twist to the grime classic.

The original track inspired the East Londoner to write bangers and firmly pushed him on the path as one of UK’s rising grime star…and he has come a long way! His vocal presence and distinct flow were supported by  SBTV, GRM Daily, LinkUpTV, Reprezent FM and Westside FM.

With the major tastemakers and fans eagerly waiting for future material,  SLICKDOTR promises there’s much more to come this year….so stay tuned!

New Track! Like I Do – Shinobi (ft. LDizz)

Shinobi Like I Do

Continuously representing the northern underground music scene, SHINOBI just slammed his brand new track Like I Do.

The explosive banger sees the Sheffield grimester spitting bars over a murky Sticky Blood instrumental that draws on the early days of grime, made up of a racing backline and jerking synth fuelled beat, while fellow Sheffield MC LDizz drops  an energetic verse.

The co-founder of A.O.K (All Out Krew) and Sheffield-based online radio station, UK Mondo recently enjoyed success with the Sheffield hip-hop collective Clubs & Spades, made up of fellow MC Matic Mouth and producers Andy Nicholson and Jamie Shield. Their track Clearer Coast was made Record of the Week by Charlie Sloth on BBC Radio 1Xtra, Record of the Day online and hit radio playlists throughout the UK. SHINOBI‘s solo release is set to make serious waves among music critics and fans.

Like I Do is available now via iTunes…but for now, check out the video.

Having smashed it with the original, Sheffield’s hottest grimsta (that’s grime star, just in case you’re wondering) COCO comes back harder with two remixes of the single, Big Bou Yah with Jammz, Terminator and Trigga  on the vocal remix (watch the video) while Walter Egodrops drops a brand new dub of the hugely supported 1Xtra’s Toddla T original.

Big Bou Yah has been heavily playlisted across radio and TV, making COCO the one to watch for 2016. The three-minute explosive banger comes as the follow-up to debut single Target Practice, released via Girls Music in July, which earned the upriser serious recognition from Earmilk and GRM Daily.

New Music Video: Balance – Sticky Blood

Production duo STICKY BLOOD have unveiled  their brand new visual to grime/R&B fused single Balance. The track is the first release from their upcoming EP, Blood Thicker Than Water, dropping on the pair’s record label Card Gang Music on 20th November.

Sticky Blood

Andy Nichols and Jamie Shield -aka-STICKY BLOOD are back with another grime-fuelled number, Gravy, the third release from their EP, I.D.  The track features 18-year-old up-and-coming rapper Snowy.

The production duo were featured on NEW LEASE MUSIC with their second release, I.D. (featuring upcoming rapper Ajay Carter) just 14 days ago! Boy, these guys ain’t messing around!
