JimiDaKilla Drops ‘This One’s For/Cognac Arcade’ Video Alongside EP ‘Cognac Arcade’

JIMIDAKILLA’s long-awaited debut EP, ‘Cognac Arcade’, has finally touched down with the release of the two part video ‘This One’s For/Cognac Arcade’. This intricately themed musical journey is an interwoven tapestry packed with storytelling, humour, personality and hip-hop/pop sequenced beats. ‘This One’s For / Cognac Arcade’ offers the listener ‘goldfish bowl’ access into the crazy and colourful world of our Derby native.

Although ‘Cognac Arcade’ is Jimi’s first ‘solo flight’ he’s been performing, recording and releasing with his ‘widely respected’ Derby rap collective Local Geezers for some time. With co-signs from the likes of SBTV’s Jamal Edwards, Grime MC Kamikaze & Link Up TV, Local Geezers have built up a solid reputation in the UK Rap scene for quality music over the past few years, releasing two solid EPs, a handful of high-end music videos, hilarious video and audio podcast programs whilst continuously developing and honing the Local Geezer’s brand position and strategy.

With this video, along with the 6 track EP ‘Cognac Arcade’, is looking to take the crown as one of the most exciting underground UK rap releases of 2020…

Teenage Rap Talent Brodie Unveils New Single, ‘Diamonds’

Hotly tipped BRODIE returns, closing the year with his latest single, ‘Diamonds’, which is taken from his forthcoming debut EP set to be released in the New Year.

The captivating bass-heavy rap track sees the North Londoner in braggadocios mode, as he waxes lyrically about the life and times of a rising rap stalwart, who is intent on taking his talents to the very top of the UK rap music landscape.

Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘Diamonds’, Brodie says, “My inspiration for writing ‘Diamonds’ was my desire to be a star in UK rap. I was seeing people blow up around that time and it just fuelled me to write ‘Diamonds’, as it made me feel like I can do it too. You can hear the hunger and passion in the track and I think that’s what makes it powerful. Being a rap artist is all I’ve ever wanted, and I was almost speaking all the things I wanted into existence”.

Already garnering early support from tastemakers such as GRM Daily, Link Up TV, and SBTV, t Brodie is fast proving to be one to watch for 2020. With his infectious flow, lyrical prowess, melodic raps, and singing abilities, which he barely scratched the surface of, on previous singles like ‘Rain On Em’ and ‘Rest & Pray’, this 17-year-old is definitely setting himself apart from the rest of the pack, in a pretty big way….

New Music Video: Kop That S**T – Aystar

Relentless in both his honest lyricism and heavy delivery, AYSTAR has shot to the top of the Scouse rap masters. The release of his brand new mixtape ’Scousematic 2’ coincides with the video release of the video ‘Kop That Shit’, which dropped exclusively on P110’s channel and has already close to 100,000 views just 48 hours in. ’Scousematic 2’ has entered the iTunes Hip Hop/Rap Album charts at number 8 (currently at number 10) and charted at number 42 (currently at 100). The hypnotic string-led instrumental of ‘Kop That Shit’ compliments his smooth yet robust flow and his perceptive lyrics paint a vivid picture that drops into the sing-a-long hook.

The UK rap landscape in the last few years has notoriously been redefined and what used to be a London centric scene has now rippled through the UK to discover talent from all of its corners. Hailing from the North-West, AYSTAR is among the likes of Bugzy Malone, Mist and Coco representing the sound alongside a standout accent. He first launched onto the scene with his notorious YouTube freestyles and diss tracks, which went onto catch the attention of fellow rap stars such as K-Koke. Taking AYSTAR under his wing K Koke invited him down to London to work on music and join the collective USG, concluding to the infamous SBTV cypher featuring K-Koke, Geko (Manchester) and a young Aystar. He also caught the attention of Giggs who later featured him on ‘The Best’ taken from his Landlord album.

Receiving acclaim from The Guardian they featured him in an article commending the northern rap scene-‘“Why doesn’t everyone rap in scouse?”. As well as BBC Radio 1 and 1xtra’s Charlie Sloth who gave him the platform to showcase his talent on the legendary Fire In The Booth and he later featured on Charlie Sloth’s album ‘The Plug’ among artists such as Ghetts, Fredo, 21 Savage, Giggs, Abracadabra and many more.

AYSTAR has now grown to become the voice of the Liverpool’s urban youth and has helped pioneer the movement to get Liverpool on the map. His latest project ‘Scousematic 2’ is guaranteed to create further kudos and awareness as his reach to both national and international heights continues.

New Music Video: Wolverine 2 – Zeo Zeonardo

Authenticity fuels Wolverhampton native ZEO ZEONARDO carved his name within the Midlands grime and rap scene. Constructing a unique flow that catapults with scattergun delivery, Zeo turns up the gears and enhances his previously seen capabilities on his latest release, ‘Wolverine 2’.

Detonating through the track at an accelerating speed, Zeo spits over an enchanting loop that echoes through the core of the song. The atmospheric ‘Wolverine 2’, which plays on the name of his hometown and acts as a metaphor for Zeo’s superpowers as an MC, is paired with cinematic visuals set in an isolated desert, courtesy of Kyle ‘Shox’ Brown.

With a steady growth of his fan base over recent years, Zeo’s work as a producer and rapper has been increasingly recognised within the scene. Having recently supported US hip hop artist Hopsin on his Savageville U.K tour alongside Token, he’s worked with established artists over the years such as JME (BBK), DJ Q (BBC Radio 1Xtra), Trilla, Bassboy and TRC. He has also had his music supported and played across local and national platforms, as well as being featured by the UK tastemakers including SBTV, GRM Daily and RWD mag.

Harbouring an eclectic sound that falls on the cusp of multiple genres, Zeo is renowned for his experimental production and flows and ‘Wolverine 2’ is a prime example.

New Track: Bangs – Miss Banks

MS BANKS has spent 2017 constantly demonstrating why she is worthy of all the attention she has attracted since first bursting onto the scene with her mixtape ‘Once Upon A Grind’ in 2014 and last year’s much talked about ‘Fire in the Booth’.

Releasing one stellar track after another, whilst always illustrating her raw and confident lyrical prowess, she has caught the attention of respected music tastemakers across the world and this week the south London hip-hop artist – who previously supported Cardi B on her UK tour earlier this year – received the ultimate co-sign when she woke up to discover the number one selling US rapper Nicki Minaj had tweeted the lyrics to her verse on the ‘Yu Zimme’ remix and subsequently invited Ms Banks to join her on her UK tour next year.

Continuing her winning streak, MS BANKS returns with her new track ‘Bangs’. The explosive fusion of UK hip-hop, grime and trap influences mixed with her inimitable flow look set to make the NYGE produced track a future hit. The track will feature on MS BANKS’ highly anticipated forthcoming project, which will be released in the new year.

‘Bangs’ is the follow-up to the hugely addictive Donae’o and ProducerWez produced ‘Day Ones’ and the underground anthems ‘’Get Loose’, ‘OMG’ and ‘Vibes’ which were released earlier this year and saw her causing a stir.
