The group came to came to life in 2008, after singer/songwriter Katie Kasia and producer Lee Thorpe met at the British Academy of Music, studying alongside artists like ED SHEERAN,GECKO, RITA ORA and RIA RITCHIE.
Their blend of rich harmonies and addictive electronic melodies has earned them spots in a string of London venues, such as RichMix, Shunt, The Borderline and the Mermaid Theatre, as well as generating interests from labels. They are currently working with a large independent label for our first album. With their debut effort nearing completion, the duo are offering sneak preview into the future of intelligent pop.

Feather Weight Soul Tape Vol. 2: Mellowtape is the perfect introduction to British smooth operator ROBIN MITCHELL.
So what to expect from this Bristol-based singer/songwriter? Well the title of the EP says it all really…super light, mellow, summertime melodies (with the hints of soul and afrobeats) which is topped off by Mitchell’s soothing and dreamy vocals.
