TWANDOE is the next best thing with his label Serve Camp Entertainment. Taking  underground hip hop by storm, he uses heavenly laid back, car hopping beats with (at times) electric-effect raps. Electronic-effects raps? Well have a listen to his 16-track mixtape, Lingo Crazy, released this month.

Such electronic raps, are featured in Back  To The Basics, Trust No Nigga Trust No Hoes and Today Is A Good Day. These tracks feature angelic/heavenly melodies and with the full-bodied and rough raps, somehow they all make good listening.

I Neva Fuk Wit Lamez is definitely the one to listen, as this smooth spaced out production features layers upon layers of awkward, slightly-out-of-time raps in the chorus. This track just shows why he’s such a big hit in the underground hip hop scene.

Star Song: Core Audio – Dangerous Cats

Dangerous cats

Today’s song is Core Audio by underground hip hop act DANGEROUS CATS. The track is coming from their album latest album Age of Grimalkin.

These guys are the forerunners of alternative hip hop as they use crazy beats that you wouldn’t usually associate with hip hop – but it makes very intriguing listening.  There are some seriously out-of-sight tracks on their latest album, but Core Audio made it to the star song hot spot, as it features an ultra soothing melody completed by some unreal freestyling – check it out.

If Core Audio is right up your street, you’ll definitely like Age of Grimalkin – pop over to their Bandcamp page and download the album for free.

Star Song: U and Only U – NinoWes

NinoWes

Today’s song is U and Only U by Californian raised singer/songwriter NINOWES. The track was released in May.

After using the famous Jerk Movement as a platform, the Ohio born upcomer was more than ready to emerge as R&B solo artist. He had his first taste of success with his track, Bite Me (Bitch I Am A Mac Apple Bite Me) which has over 3 million plays virally by the group which he co founded called Breakfast Club. More recently he won an award for best Male R&B at the first 818 awards in September.

This guy is no one trick pony: he also produced hip hop songs for acts including MANN, KIDS IN THE HALL and KHLEO THOMAS – but R&B remains his first love. Well just have a listen to U and Only U. This track oozes pure class and it certainly justifies his award for Best Male R&B.

NINOWES has more music in the pipeline, so keep it locked on NEW LEASE MUSIC

Star Song: Just Lose – Zeno The Ruler

Zeno the ruler

Her laid-back flow and clever, thought-provoking and (at times) I-don’t-give-a-f*** wordplay earned her record deals with indie labels Ironfist Ent. & Money Hunters LLC in Queens NY.
