Song of the Day: Massacre -MyNature

MyNature

Today’s song is Massacre by MYNATURE (pronounced Miniature).

This south-east Londoner realised he was destined to be a rap star whilst serving a six-year prison sentence – and around this time a new wave of UK rappers such as DIZZEE RASCAL, CHIPMUNK, WILEY and TINCHY STRYDER were tearing up the charts. But it was TINIE TEMPAH, who was practically a neighbour, inspired this hip hop upriser to grab a piece of the action.

Now released from jail, MYNATURE was ready to put his dream into action. He released a mixtape called Ballyface and went on to work with different producers – but struck gold when he met Efexx, producer from Unstoppable Music Group.  In no time he produced a 15-track mixtape called It’s In My Nature, featuring Smiler and Dot Rotten. However his second mixtape, The Beginning, was the first release. The 15 track production featured ‘MYNATURE rapping over existing music’. The Beginning, which took a WEEK to produce, is described as ‘his introduction to the world.’

Well here’s another introduction…have a listen to Massacre – what you think? (answers below please!) If you’re feeling this track, then check out his SoundCloud page.
