Star song: Telephone – Lem and the White Fire

Lem and the white fire

Today’s song is Telephone by British soul/pop act LEM AND THE WHITE FIRE.

Hailing from West Sussex, the 12-piece band literally burst onto the music scene this year with their chirpy, uplifting sound of guitars, piano, trumpets, and saxophones coupled with unquestionably rich ADELE-esque vocals delivered by powerhouse singer Lem Parker. Their uplifting stamp on soul and pop has kept them real busy with back-to-back live performances across the UK.

Counting JANELLE MONAE, ADELE and SHIRLEY BASSEY amongst their influences, LEM AND THE WHITE FIRE unleashed their debut single Telephone in June. Have a listen to Telephone as you definitely get to hear that delightful, pick-me-up fusion of the different instruments that puts them (without a shadow of a doubt) in a league of their own.

So has Telephone put a sneaky smile on your face? The single is available for purchase on Itunes. Before you head over here, may I suggest you listen to Domino Romeo? #Stunning!
