EP Review: A Light Echo – Rainbow Shark

Rainbow Sharks

Following the debut release of the critically acclaimed self-titled EP in 2013, Jack Levy (vocals, keys, laptop) and Bill Wright (guitars)- aka  London-based duo RAINBOW SHARK – return, fully refreshed, and are more than ready to unleash their second EP A Light Echo.

A feather light pop rock is featured in the four-track set, pulled together by melodic electronic overtones, which is (sort of) a cross between Depeche Mode and New Order. Have a listen and see if you agree.

KYLE LETTMAN teamed up with fellow UK singer Coco Dupree on for the brand new, 90s-inspired slow jam single, Matter of Time. The super-smooth effort is coming from his five-track EP Under Construction.

The R&B crooner also teamed up with production duo, Distant Light (who previously worked with him earlier this year with track, Mind) for the remix for Matter of Time, infusing the R&B sounds with a hint of garage.

Lettman has enjoyed considerable success  with the re-make of Artful Dodgers’ hit Moving Too Fast,  gaining support across the BBC, Kiss and Capital Networks.

EP Review: Omni – Philo B

Omni EP

After a two-year hiatus, North Miami upfront emcee PHILO B makes his return to the music scene with a brand new EP titled  Omni.

Once you get past the cheeky intro, the seven-track set is sure to be a delight for fans who await for his return as it features silky-smooth and after hours bangers where PHILO B‘s awkwardly vibrant flow rips through each arrangements and takes centre stage.

This out-of-sight EP is the perfect warmup to his forthcoming album, Black Caesar. It’s definitely worth your time; check it out!
