Song of the Day: Motive – Billions x Ayo Beats

Putting in the work on the underground circuit, BILLIONS CFL is the latest rapper to hit the radar with tens of thousands of Instagram followers, hundreds of thousands of streams and hundreds of thousands of YouTube views in tow.

Establishing an impressive following through his luxurious rap and videos, singles such as ‘Make it Home’ have racked up over ¼ million views on Link Up TV, whilst his ‘10 Toes’ freestyle has almost 200k views on GRM Daily. Now teaming up with super-producer Ayo Beatz for a second time, he drops the latest from his arsenal in the form of ‘Motive’.

Barring it out over an afro-trap beat, the bouncy number takes its trap influence from Billions American counterparts and dips the lyricism in London lingo. Continuing to document his exuberant lifestyle, the video is splashed with designer clothes, popping bottles and a line of ladies as BILLIONS and Ayo Beatz work out their latest ‘Motive’.

Song of the Day: Credit – Dutch ReBelle

Following the success of her first video “Tonight”, DUTCH REBELLE is back with her second video for ‘Credit’, her latest album offering “Bang Bang”. The video, which was shot by Quality Images and edited by Rhendrixmusic for Amora Studios, finds Dutch in an art gallery surrounded by her own art and friends celebrating one’s own greatness and self-worth.

‘Credit’ brings out the best in Dutch, giving her the canvas to spit sizzling bars over a spooky instrumental provided courtesy of Boston’s own HumBeats, who’s booming 808’s and fresh sample flip keep the track moving as Dutch floats in and out dropping gems on fans and haters alike.

‘Bang Bang’ was released last October with additional production from Cartier C, Milty Maose, DJ Smalls, Althasi, Duggy Flex, Newm Nera, Tedd Boyd and Latrell James (who also lends guest verse) and Congolese MC S. Black Winner. The album shows all of Dutch’s influence and growth since her first release ‘Married to the Music’ in 2012 and gives us glimpses of what we can expect in the future….check her out below:
