Today’s song is Man on the Moon the first UK release by RO RO BENSON. The track is coming from her début EP Man on the Moon and The Optimist (released by Blank Rocket.)
The singer/songwriter comes from a strong musical family – her uncle is the jazz legend GEORGE BENSON. At the age of 15, she made American X-Factor history when the group she was in (called Stance) was the youngest band to make it to the final twelve groups. Before stepping out into the limelight with her début EP, she was part of Mr Bangladesh writing team, penning hits for big acts like RIHANNA, JLS and MARINA.
So there you have it – have a listen to Man on the Moon. This track offers three and a half minutes of explosive, in-your-face hooks, with infectious, clever and quirky wordplay – check-it-out!
