Hailing from Brooklyn, R&B songstress PHOENIXX makes her entry on NEW LEASE MUSIC and releases ‘Ain’t Going Nowhere’, the brand new single from her debut EP ‘Bamboo.’
After over a decade of writing songs and singing background for several artists,PHOENIXX is ready to deliver her own sound and style.
Take a listen to ‘Ain’t Going Nowhere’. Upcoming EP ‘Bamboo’ is set for release in Spring 2017…seriously this is one bad boy production!
Just on the preview alone (which I discovered at the start of the year), David Newell and Michael Gray – aka MIDNIGHT MYSTERY CLUB – really cause a stir and kept fans and tastemakers on the edge of their seats with the release of their (obviously) highly anticipated album, entitled ‘Reason or Rhyme’, released last Friday.
A summer-hazy electronic/dance drive dominates the ten-track set, with elements of downtempo funk creeping in just before the second half of the album, before making its occasional presence well and truly known, for an even more pleasurable listen.
‘Reason or Rhyme’ was certainly worth the wait and – seriously – I cannot fault these guy’s production – it’s five stars from me!
Must Listens: Richest Man In The World, Orange County, Reason or Rhyme, Alright (Album Remix).
After debuting on NEW LEASE MUSIC with the funky number, ‘Tell Me’ – featured as Song of the Day – GREG BANKS returns with a brand new single ‘I’ll Be There’, released last Friday.
Hailed as the one to watch by Deli magazine, Banks takes a detour from the kaleidoscopic mix of soul, funk, pop and rock (as featured in track, ‘Tell Me’) and opts for a buttery smooth fusion of R&B and funk, showcasing his after-hours falsetto, which is very reminiscent of the late Marvin Gaye.
Soothe over your humpday and have a listen to ‘I’ll Be There’.
A month after the release of latest track, ‘Romeo Must Die’, DOLLA$IGNDUNN has just dropped the accompanied video for the banger.
The vintage-effect visual features the New Jersey spitter in the middle of basketball court, dropping some gem advice of becoming a player, through his seamless flow. The four-minute production also feature clips of the classic crime thriller, ‘Romeo Must Die’ (2000), starring Jet Li and the late Aaliyah.
This one is too good pass up…watch the video for ‘Romeo Must Die…and remember, you saw it first on NEW LEASE MUSIC.
After scooping NEW LEASE MUSIC’s Song of the Month crown with track, ‘Leanin’ in January, BECALLI BRUH is all set to blaze up today’s hotspot with latest banger, ‘Hot Shot’ – miss good to pass up, go check it!!!
