Award-winning, platinum-selling R&B Pop sensation, ROWLENE indulges a passionate courtship with her latest offering ‘Only (Feat. WurlD)’ .

Recently emerging from a 2-year hiatus with her sultry icebreaker ‘Would You Like That’, ‘Only’, the second single off Rowlene’s new seven-track EP Frequency, is an ode to one of the most essential love languages to maintain the spark between two lovebirds, the Art Of Pleasure. Complemented by sensual sonic texture and courting lyricism, the intimate future mash hit sets the mood for not only a craving for extravagant displays of affection but a simple appreciation for the little things.

Speaking on the creative process of ‘Only’ and what music lovers can expect from her EP, Rowlene shares:

“WurlD and I hadn’t met until the song was complete. The collaboration was effortless and organic.. ‘‘Frequency’ has so many definitions, from science to math, it is a significant observation that always hints to ‘more’. This project follows exactly that notion. Each song represents a twist or turn in the journey we call finding love and sometimes ourselves. One’s cycle can never be compared to another’s, yet when you’ve matched the energies when you’ve synchronized with someone – magic happens.”

Listen To Tonee C’s Latest EP ‘Stardust’

TONEE C gets up close and personal on latest project ‘Stardust, the fifth instalment of a project series on his fast rising career.

The word ‘Stardust’ refers to a charismatic quality, feeling or enchanting state or mood.

Speaking about what the new project means to him and his career, he says “My first project ‘PEERLESS VIBES’ symbolized a rose that grew out of the concrete, the music that took off and changed my life. At a point where everybody was hyped up off the same type of rap music, I came along doing my own thing on TNT Vol.1 and UKIYO.

With Stardust I strongly believe it’s God’s will, perfect timing and we’re exactly where we are supposed to be, a project that represents alignment, balance and the fact that all of life’s choices led to this moment”.

Song of the Day: Closing In – Sumi

A Tokyo-based singer/songwriter with imaginative lyrics and genre-blending sound, SUMI combines contemporary western sounds with elements of her roots. While living in Los Angeles, she played in several bands and collaborated with artists and producers writing and recording songs that featured in network shows like Teen Titans Go, Naked and Afraid, and Ellen Degeneres Show. She has also recorded for “G’Day USA production “Honoring Liam Hemsworth and Helen Reddy, and performed at “An Evening of Wicked Fun: Honoring Stephen Schwartz” as a pianist.

Her debut single ‘Closing In,’ deals with the pressure of her personal expectations, as well as the expectations of others and society while surviving in the music industry. It exposes the struggles of the fear and anxiety constantly colliding in her head that made her doubt herself and become overwhelmed by insecurity. Sumi integrates her Japanese identity and instrumentation with western modern pop and future bass.
