New Track: Caroline – Shaefri

‘Caroline’ definitely hits a raw nerve with London-based singer/songwriter SHAEFRI. With atmospheric soundcapes coupled with the stunningly soft/heartfelt vocals, the latest single tells the story of witnessing someone close hitting the self-destruct button – and feeling powerless to save them.

On her most personal release to date, SHAEFRI explains: “I wrote Caroline the day after I received a phone call saying someone close to me was in hospital after overdosing. I cried the whole day but I was also so angry with her for letting it happen. I was so afraid for her life. I felt guilty for not being there when it had happened, that I couldn’t stop her from doing it, and no longer being able to help. Every time it happens, there’s less of a person left to put back together.”

Following the success of previous releases, ‘Pixelate’, ‘Monster, ‘Rabbit Hole’, and ‘Give It All’, SHAEFRI has seen an influx of support from Clash, DIY, and Hattie Pearson at Radio X, whilst her unique brand of haunting vocals and minimalistic beats have seen sold-out performances at venues, such as The Old Blue Last and Notting Hill Arts Club.

New Music Video: The Feels – Humans

Vancouver duo HUMANS have released a new interactive 360º virtual reality video today for their single ‘The Feels’.

Their dark electronic-pop is perfectly countered by a sense of paranoia and isolation from the video’s protagonist. The VR puts the viewer directly into that space of unease, prodding them forward, as the track builds to a nightmarish warehouse rave.

‘The Feels’ follows their interactive 360º virtual reality video for previous single ‘Boys & Girls‘ – the videos are impressive; it’s well worth hitting that play button.

New Music Video: What Do I Do – Rayed R

Coming straight out of Huntsville, Alabama, RAYED R has garnered a lot of attention of late. His latest mixtapes titled ‘In Due Time’ and ‘The Real Quarter 6ix’ helped him to establish his sound and a solid fan base.

New Track: Think About That – Jessie J

JESSIE J shares her new song and music video ‘Think About That.’ The song heralds the upcoming release of her fourth full-length album, R.O.S.E. , arriving in 2018.

‘Think About That’ sees the multi-platinum UK-born BRIT Award-winning songstress unearth a rarely seen and heard side of herself. The stark and minimal production from DJ Camper [Nicki Minaj, Mary J. Blige and Mariah Carey] gives way to intensely personal lyrics and a raw, soulful performance. “I didn’t want to write any new songs.” JESSIE J explains, “Camper said “Ok” then before he left the room, he put the beat for ‘Think About That’ on a loop. The lyric and melody just starting falling out of me, and 15 minutes later when he returned I had a song. He laughed and said “see””

JESSIE J also announced ‘R.O.S.E’.—an acronym for “Realizations, Obsessions, Sex, and Empowerment”—via a video detailing her struggles and journey to this body of work without pulling any punches. ‘R.O.S.E’. represents a bold evolution for the artist as she shares personal stories over the course of the tracklisting.

In addition, JESSIE J has revealed her upcoming tour schedule of intimate rooms, beginning in the UK on October 8 at Birmingham Institute, followed by Manchester Albert Hall on October 9 and London’s KOKO on October 11 with further dates plotted across Europe and the US through October 28 at Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, CA. New Music Video: The Stone – Jerome Thomas

Following the release of his acclaimed debut EP ‘Conversations’, East London vocal powerhouse, JEROME THOMAS presents a mesmerising performance in the new video – directed by Christopher Cargill whose portfolio includes Giggs and Emeli Sandé –  for lead track, ‘The Stone’.

‘The Stone’ is one of the lighter more self-explanatory tracks from the socially conscious EP, tackling topics that still remain taboo within the music industry.
