ASTHA is back, this time claiming today’s limelight with a catchy/laid back R&B inspired piece entitled ‘Muse’.
This latest offering is the Canadian singer-songwriter’s second release this year and adds to her discography that’s melodic, direct, and emotional which is often fused with pop, folk and R&B, where she draws inspiration from the likes of Jhene Aiko, Ben Harper, Daniel Caesar, and Alina Baraz to name a few.
‘Muse’ is the title track of her new EP, to be released later this year. Have a listen below:
ASTHA has released visuals to her most personal work to date, entitled ‘More’.
This smooth alt-pop number could be described as a victory song for the Canadian singer/songwriter after she turned her life around within a year, from years of loneliness and emptiness. Despite having sold-out tours across the UK, Australia and Asia, ASTHA revealed that she had massive breakdowns after each shows.
‘More’ is from her brand new EP ‘Muse’ which covers the struggles of a relationship – feeling frustrated, lonely and misunderstood – and the calm after the storm.
