Song of the Day: Malibu – Stumbleine (ft. Elizabeth Heaton)

Taken from his ‘Sink Into Ehter’ album, UK producer STUMBLEINE‘s cover of the Hole song, ‘Malibu’ features Elizabeth Heaton’s (Midas Fall) delicate, dream-like vocals wafting over the hazy instrumental waves like tendrils of smoke, as they both grow ever more desperate, and slowly crash.

Speaking of his dreamy cover,  Stumbleine says: “Hole’s ‘Malibu’ is the perfect balance of bittersweetness, a golden soundscape of serene melancholy. Tracks which illustrate that symmetry between light and dark are timeless to me, they mirror life with piercing clarity.”

Also known for his work in post-dubstep trio Swarms, Stumbleine has steadily built a cult of admirers around himself following collaborations across his varied albums and EPs with the likes of ASA, Shura, Violet Skies, Birds of Passage and Steffaloo.
