Chin Injeti Spreads Self-Love With Single, ‘For The Love Of Life’

Multi-Grammy and JUNO Award-winning artist CHIN INJETI‘s new single ‘For The Love Of Life,’ is a rallying cry of self-love and reliance. It wasn’t completed without some of Injeti’s tenured collaborative magic; he called upon fellow Vancouverite Teon Gibbs to feature on the track.

With a burgeoning catalog at 255,000+ streams across Spotify alone, ‘For The Love Of Life’ is Injeti’s first of the year, and follows 2020 offerings of ‘Let Go,’ ‘Serious,’ and ‘Falling’ — the latter of which featured Esthero on accompanying vox and Delhi 2 Dublin’s Tarun Nayer on tabla.

Born in Hyderabad, India and having to survive polio from birth, music therapy treatments helped facilitate his motor skills — ultimately changing his life. His path towards the craft became clearer when Injeti teamed up with then-partner DJ Khalil with whom he made multi-GRAMMY and JUNO Award-winning music with and for the likes of Dr Dre, Eminem, Drake, Pink, Aloe Blacc, The Clipse, Lecrae, K’Naan, and more.

Chin InJeti Gets ‘Serious’ With Brand New Single

Born in India, CHIN INJETI is the middle child to a father who was a classical vocalist and a mother who was a surgical nurse. Surviving polio from birth, he started music therapy to help facilitate his motor skills at the age of eight – and this changed his life.

After many years of touring all over North America with The Fugees, The Roots, Jamiroquoi and A Tribe Called Quest,  Chin learned the importance of an impactful lyric and melody. He then teamed up with then partner DJ Khalil; with whom he made music with and for Dr. Dre, Eminem, Drake, Pink, and many other artists.

Releaed last Friday (31st February), Chin’s new single, ‘Serious’ was inspired by ’80s funk and boogie music with a modern disco twist. Check it out below…

Upcoming Release: Fireman – Jake Aldridge (ft. Lisa Ambrose)

Having gone to number one on Zone Radio’s Top 40 Charts, getting his track played on Playboy TV daily and receiving airplay on Tom Robinson’s BBC Introducing Mixtape, JAKE ALDRIDGE returns with ‘Fireman’. Fusing R&B, pop and hip-hop, Aldridge tells the captivating story of losing the person you love, a theme he is all too familiar with after losing his own father at the age of 11.

‘Fireman’ features singer-songwriter Lisa Ambrose, who recently won Battle Of The Bandstands, hosted by BBC Radio 1’s Rob The Bank. This led to Ambrose supporting Mark Ronson and now collaborating with Norwich-based hip-hopper.

Inspired by the likes of Tupac Shakur and Dr Dre, Jake believes his music is entirely honest and offers his fans an insight to his life and emotions. The song has been produced by Ninety II, an up and coming producer from Bristol.

‘Fireman’ is set for release via iTunes, Spotify, Deezer and many more on 7th April 2017.
