New Track: Louder – ThBenj

Rapper/songwriter/producer THBENJ makes a bold entry on the blog with third release of the year titled ‘Louder’.

The latest release possess a fearless use of hip-hop/pop with trap beats offering up a slight dance vibe. Such confident use of genres, spans from the multi-instrumentalist’s extensive music career. Starting as a drummer, THBENJ  performed with multiple bands across Sardinia and mainland Italy in genres ranging from rock, metal, punk, soul and pop before collaborating with a DJ in Ibiza.

‘Louder’ follows singles, ‘Waiting For You’ –  which hit number one on CCG Network Radio Top 20 charts – and ‘Manipulated’.

EP Review: Insomnia – Be Kreative

NEW LEASE MUSIC regular BE KREATIVE‘s latest EP ‘Insomnia’ predominantly delivers piano-led overtones which works heavenly against the contrasting dense-heavy drive.

Although the above combo provides an instantly likable mainstream vibe, the collection also brings on a flicker of that similar sound of R&B, dreamy boombap and that real gritty lick of urbanised hip-hop, where BE KREATIVE‘s and guest vocalists were consistently confident in delivering a crisp and lucid flow.

‘Insomnia’ makes pleasant listening and is an adequate introduction to Houston rapper. However it would be great for him to really experiment with various genres in order to get ahead of the game. I say this because I KNOW he can do it with ease – and who knows, maybe he has those plans in the pipeline…check him out below…

New Music Video: Tonight – Dutch Rebelle

DUTCH REBELLE is back with the first visual for ‘Tonight’, the Cartier C-produced lead
single from her new album ‘Bang Bang’ released in October. Shot by Carson Lund in Downtown Los Angeles, the video reveals the usually fierce rapper’s vulnerable side, with her walking thru the streets of Chinatown by herself reflecting on the night she’s had and what she’s about to get into.

The album received rave reviews from fans and critics alike. With additional production from Hum Beats, Milty Maose, DJ Smalls, Althasi, Duggy Flex, Newm Nera, Tedd Boyd and
Latrell James (who also lends guest verse) and Congolese MC S. Black Winner the
album shows all of Dutch’s influence and growth since her first release ‘Married to
the Music’ in 2012.
