Timmal Bradford aka BRAD is more than determined to break the mould of traditional hip-hop influences though his mixtape The Artist, released last month.

If you’re unfamiliar with this Mississippi-bred rapper expect original and witty wordplay with rollercoaster raps that dip and grooves into an assortment of sit-up-and-take-note beats.

This 11 track mixtape features some seriously  easy cursing productions:  Pray, Under Control and Practice. With these tracks, this guy confidently raps that he’s a cut above the rest. The Artist heats up with Get Your Freak On Freestyle and BRAD City, where his rollercoaster freestyling is really evident. But the hot tracks of the mixtape have got to be the super smooth Too Alive, Train Freestyle and the funky R.I.P Freestyle.

I have to be honestly here: time after time I’ve heard rappers go on about how they’re the next best thing– but in reality they don’t cut the mustard. BRAD is different, as The Artist mixtape just proves that this guy is the ‘Mozart of hip-hop’ and is definitely staying in the hip hop game for a long while – CHECK IT OUT here (highly recommended)

Danny Green KP

Today’s track is Been Missing by Danny Green KP.

Man, this Philly rapper has been busy…besides releasing his mixtapes The Current Times of Danny Green and 4th Quarter Grind earlier this year, he was recently featured on his boy SUGE MASAYA’s remixed version of I’m SO.

Now he produced (and also featured on) the atmospheric, spaced out track with MIZZY CARLO. Don’t leave this post until you have a bash – because these guys’ raps are on the money!

If you’re really feeling it, there plenty more tracks on his SoundCloud page – there’s no time like the present!

News: SugeMasaya releases remix to his track I’m So

SUGEMASAYA was featured on NEW LEASE MUSIC some time ago with his track I’m SO. Now the Philly rapper has release the remix of his hot single featuring DANNY GREEN.

DANNY GREEN also had a spot on this blog with his track The Life Of, coming from his mixtape The Current Times Of Danny Green.

Check out their on-point collaboration!

Jason Slusser -aka -JAYSIN  is a rapper that definitely needs to be heard. From a young age, he had love for hip-hop, listening to TUPAC and GETO BOYS RECORDS. By the age of nine, he wrote his first rap and by the age of 14, this underground hardcore upriser left school to pursue his music career, recording in his mother’s trailer and soon started performing at house parties and local venues. By the age of 18, he started releasing mixtapes, gaining a respectable fan base.

Gaining his huge fan base wasn’t down to rapping about the sweetest bootie in the club. Instead his lyrics reflect the harsh experience he encountered in his short life –which includes poverty, depression, uncertainly, suicide, feeling lost and drug taking – and this is all included in his latest mixtape, Clear Eye’d, released this month.

Beyond the harsh, hard-hitting lyrics of his life, there is an undercurrent that his Chicago-born struggling artist yearns to be a better person – and Demons All Around Me, Lost and 6figures speaks of his struggle to stay on the right track. His angrier-than-ever raps in is evident in tracks FTW and Gas, as it documents his frustration with the corruption of the government and his personal encounter and experience with the police.

JAYSIN is not afraid to represent the black sleeps of societies across the globe through this 12-track mixtape. Beyond the dope beats, he’s not afraid to invite you into his harsh reality. After listening to Clear Eye’d, I can’t help but have the fullest respect for this guy. The mixtape definitely deserves your attention. Check it out here.
