Californian Rapper NAYLA SAVANNAH puts all cards on the table and bares all on her frustration of living with family in her brand new track, ‘Too Close’.
Her spoken-word approach fosters a confessional tone, one that is as candid as it is deliberate, each and every syllable hitting with a deceptively loose precision.
Inspired by the likes Jill Scott, 2 Pac, Queen Latifah, Missy Elliot and Nelly, Nayla Savannah began making music in high school and continued to record throughout college. She makes music with her heart sharing experiences she has had and an array of emotions to growth it.

NATANYA shares heartfelt new single ‘Angel’ via AURA – a new London-based imprint under the seminal label for global sounds, MOVES Recordings. The follow up to 2022 single, ‘Foolish’ (reaching over 1.3 mil streams), ‘Angel’ is a seemingly euphoric slice of R&B.
Natanya’s stunning silken vocals are layered upon nostalgic, glossy chords, reminiscent of Stevie Wonder, sparkling synths and futuristic percussion that mirrors the likes of ‘Provider’ by Frank Ocean, as she reflects candidly on the duality of deep infatuation versus fear of abandonment. Presenting itself as a saturated, bright ode to a lover, beneath the surface, the lyrics detail an anxious attachment, with a dark obsession over love and its departure.
Speaking on ‘Angel’, Natanya says: “I wrote “Angel” in two parts. The first began on a flight back from DC, after I felt I’d fallen for someone who showed me something new, but was not completely present when I needed them most. I kept singing the tune of the chorus as I fell asleep on the plane, [and] rushed to my piano to write the rest of the song as I landed. It’s got a sadder meaning than its sonic presentation, though. I wrote it as an introspective ballad first, in production, we decided to up the tempo. I’m exploring the juxtaposition between infatuation and that obsessive fear of abandonment; I want to show how the two can coexist in front of the shape of an insecure young woman who hasn’t yet developed a sense of self or boundaries – so she clings to the first sign of understanding she sees, even if it’s no good for her.”
Natanya recently supported R&B superstar girlgroup FLO in Manchester and London after hitting 1+million streams with self-released single ‘Foolish’ (2022). Standing out from the crowd with her refreshing take on alternative R&B and her striking visual aesthetic, she has gained tastemaker support and has a grown a dedicated fan base and online community via Instagram, her recent ascent on TikTok and her newsletter. Born and bred in London, soulful songbird SACHA T felt she wasn’t at a place where she wanted to be as a musician. In response to this, she wrote latest single, ‘Dream It Away’ on a flight of stairs in her house. Exuding mesmeric old soulful soundscapes, glazed over by Sacha T’s, honeycomb vocals, ‘Dream It Away’ serves as a reminder that she is fortunate to be living her dream.
Sacha T says of her latest offering: “The song is a promise to myself and a reminder to others that I won’t spend the day pining and hoping for an un-promised tomorrow. Instead, I’ll “make the moments that count” and plan to dream my days away.”

Named after an amusement park she used to visit in Kansas, Los Angeles based indie pop singer/songwriter SKOFEE‘s brand new EP ‘Joyland’ contains six-tracks that chronicles finding joy in various ways after falling out of touch with it.
Skofee confides, “Joyland represents a euphoric state of mind, and one that isn’t necessarily accessible in the way it used to be. The pursuit of joy, self discovery, absence of comfort and the destruction of familiarity are all themes.”
Musically, ‘Joyland’ thrills with multidimensional sonics including sugary electro, moody indie pop, and introspective folk that touches on love, loss and the search for happiness in familiar places. Its release was preceded by several singles from the collection including her recent tropical house-tinged end-of-summer banger ‘Wind Up Hero’, ‘Quicksand’, a relatable 90’s pop fused anthem about letting go, and the lofi pop ballad ‘I’m Sorry I Killed Your Plant’.

In July 2022, Skofee released an incredible duet with famed Dutch singer/songwriter/producer and Grammy nominee Cimo Fränkel – a remake of Fränkel’s hit single ‘Where Do You Hide Your Love’ which saw support from tastemaker radio outlet KCRW and was placed in A-list rotation on Amazing Radio USA.

Born and bred in Nigeria’s capital (Lagos), HighCap (whose real name is SUNNY IDOKO) is the baby of a large family, who initially took an interest in maths and science.
