Star Song: Lion- Chimera

ChimareIf you’re looking for something that is different (and let’s say) out of this world…well you’re definitely at the right stop! Today’s song is from CHIMERA.  Lion was written and created by the Canadian pop artist and is hell bent that  his  one-of-the-kind debut single will take the world by storm. So I hope you’re ready for this one…have a listen if you dare!!! Personally, I’m lost for words….and that’s a first!!!

Star Song: Closure – Activist

Today’s song is from UK upcoming rapper ACTIVIST, who is part of a group called CMF & SWC (Cave Man Family & Slaves Without Chains). The Londoner has been rapping for eight years but didn’t take it seriously until after he was stabbed for the third time. Since then things are definitely looking up for ACTIVIST: he has been working with producer LZ on his current album, The Year of the Antagonist (watch this space for a review!) and he’s currently in talks with a reputable publishing company. To add to the success, his music has been played on numerous music channels including Daily Grime and Spiff TV. Best of all, famous musicians are talking  about his work!

His latest offerings, Closure is about an interracial relationship that goes wrong due to family intervention. Featuring Lifford, who sang on ARTFUL DODGER’s Please Don’t Turn Me On, Closure is a super smooth track that gets you hooked on first listening – so it’s not hard to see why reputable musicians are sitting up and taking notice of this hip-hop upriser! Go on, have a listen for yourself – and I guarantee you that it won’t be the last time you hear of this young rapper!

Star Song : Feel it – Keeping The Faith

Just Feel It - Keeping The Faith

If this doesn’t get you going on a night out, nothing will! Today’s star song is from KEEPING THE FAITH. The man behind the record label Ian Halsall drops another Dubstep/Drum ‘n’ Bass track called Feel It – and this guy is no stranger to the music scene. Back in the mid 1990’s Halsall worked on DJ/producer Andy Wetherall’s Sabres of Paradise label.  After taking a break from the music, Halsall came bouncing back in 2012 producing electronic music, infused with dubstep and Drum ‘n’Bass. With the help of major social media websites, the dubstep/Drum ‘n’ Bass connoisseur’s bursting-bass line productions were exposed across the globe – particularly in Siberia, South Africa and New Zealand! Like me, if you’re feeling Feel It (get it!) you can listen to more of Halsall’s tracks here . Halsall will donate will future recordings to charity – nice guy!
