New Music Video: Watch Nuttin’ – Ironik (ft. Ayo Beatz)

Making one of the most notable returns of 2017 with the release of his first album in nearly ten years, IRONIK continues to elevate and spar alongside the new generation of UK sound creators with his new single ‘Watch Nuttin’ featuring Ayo Beatz.

Featuring twice on the ‘Truth Be Told’ album, providing both production and vocals on new party track ‘Watch Nuttin’, and again on the final track of the album ‘Mercy’, Ayo Beatz, who has recently gained over 1.6 million hit on his video for ‘Big Man Ting’, clearly has an undeniable chemistry in the studio with IRONIK, making them quite the dynamic duo.

The album received an exceptional response with heavy support across BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra, the Capital network and Kiss FM all jumping on board, resulting in album streams of over 200k to date with still another four singles to come, adding to his lengthy list of previous achievements that include a number 5 official chart position, a top 5 single, one top 10 single, a top 10 album and over a million record sales. IRONIK has also received support from the likes of PAPER Mag and The Hype Magazine as well as GRM Daily and Link Up TV who recently interviewed him about the album and his return.

Talking on his album, IRONIK says: “Truth Be Told’ is only my second studio album since my first ‘No Point In Wasting Tears’ and it’s definitely my best work to date. I’ve been all over the world in the last two years DJ’ing in countries like Dubai, Japan and all over Europe and it’s undoubtedly inspired my music but there’s no place like home and whilst I reflect the influences I’ve had, the album remains a testament to being UK and homegrown.”

HUMANS Release New Video For ‘Sip It’ ahead of EP ‘The Feels’

In the run up to the release of their EP, Vancouver duo HUMANS have dropped the video to their single, ‘Sip It’.

For their latest offering, the indie electro producers started a contest on SKIO, which gave their fans the opportunity to remix ‘Sip It’. The contest concluded with over 250 submissions.

This is not the first time the HUMANS have pushed the boundaries when it comes to dropping their releases: The trippy dance visuals for ‘Boys & Girls’ translates the band’s 2D animations into an interactive 3D space and the VR for ‘The Feels’ puts the viewer directly into a space of unease, prodding them forward, as the track builds to a nightmarish warehouse rave.

‘The Feels’ EP, which includes the aforementioned singles, is set for release this Friday (26th January via their label, Haven Sounds.

New Music Video: Rockets – Lion Babe (ft. Moe Moks)

singer-songwriter/performance artist Jillian Hervey and producer/instrumentalist Lucas Goodman (Astro Raw) -aka LION BABE – have released a captivating and sensual visual for their track ‘Rockets’ ft Moe Moks.

Directed by Chalalai Fischbach and Jett Cain with Creative Direction from LION BABE, the five minute video showcases Jillian’s mesmerising dance moves and the dazzling creativity that has set the duo apart in their own league, since they first burst onto the scene with their debut track and visual for the modern classic ‘Treat Me Like Fire’. ‘Rockets’ is further brought to life with the show-stopping celebration of club and ballroom culture through various eras in time, in this must-see clip.

The visual follows the release of a set of brand new remixes for their two latest tracks ‘Rockets’ (feat Moe Moks) and ‘Hit The Ceiling’. Unveiling the remixes earlier this month, ‘Rockets’ (feat Moe Moks) has been given an urgent, Afrostep remix by mOma+Guy – which features at the end of the brand new visual – and a sultry and soulful update from collaborator and fellow New Yorker Simen Sez, whilst ‘Hit The Ceiling’ gets an addictive dance-funk remix from Zikomo and also receives the remix treatment from legendary dance producer and DJ Kenny Dope.
