Today’s song is Here With You by British rapper PW. This track is coming from his EP, From PW With Love.

Here With You has been played on underground as well as commercial radio stations such as BBC 1Xtra and playlisted on Choice Fm’s A List, played in between the likes of RIHANNA, JAY-Z and JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE.

Now this is just the beginning for this talented Londoner.  This guy has appeared on endless of online and print publications, finding his way to the front cover of British popular magazine Young Voices. He also supported acts like DAPPY, MINDLESS BEHAVIOR and CONOR MAYNARD. Best of all, he made his headline debut at the sold-out show at The Garage in London earlier this year.

Like I said, this is just the beginning for PW – so remember the name!

These guys are not new to the hip hop game – starting out in the 1980s, they were part of the Britcore era in the early 1990s. With this track, the Londoners show that they are pioneers of UK hip hop as they effortlessly rap over a dope, easy-cruising beats. CHECK-IT-OUT.

TJ CHILL is part of the group, Kaos Krew and REDD EMCEE is from a crew called Centralzone. He also produced some sick tracks, including THE TITUS 1:1-4’s Wonderful.

Star song: Started From The Bottom –Tjader

Today’s track is a cover of DRAKE’s hit, Started From The Bottom performed by upcoming British rapper TJADER.

The South Londoner started writing lyrics from the age of 15 as an outlet to release the pain from his rough upbringing. It wasn’t until years later that a friend encouraged him to start his first mixtape, Sweet Dreams.

As friends and family were cheerleaders, TJADER took his music more seriously and with the help with his school friend, he produced his first video to his track, Airmax and Levi’s.

Star song: Wanda – All We Got (ft Aimee Pace) MA

Today’s song is coming from one of UK’s brightest rappers, WANDA. His latest single, All We Got, is the third release from his debut mixtape, The Rebirth.

Born and bred in Leicester, WANDA began rapping since the age of 15 and in 2009 he signed his first record deal with Global Xzotix Records as writer and recording artist. He part ways with the record label in 2011 and although there were no official releases, the young rapper sites his experience with Global Xzotix Records as a learning curve.

WANDA featured on hip-hop group Leicester All Star’s hit track Straight from Lc. This track received heavy rotation on BBC Radio 1Xtra and the video to the song received over half million views on Youtube.  WANDA also had the opportunity to support acts such as BOW WOW.

2012 saw this talented artist penned songs for himself as well as other singers. In 2013, WANDA released his first mixtape The Rebirth. If you haven’t heard of WANDA, I suggest you listen to All We Got, as it is the perfect introduction to this guy’s oh-so-sick freestyling! With this track, this may be his breakthrough year!

Star Song: Closure – Activist

Today’s song is from UK upcoming rapper ACTIVIST, who is part of a group called CMF & SWC (Cave Man Family & Slaves Without Chains). The Londoner has been rapping for eight years but didn’t take it seriously until after he was stabbed for the third time. Since then things are definitely looking up for ACTIVIST: he has been working with producer LZ on his current album, The Year of the Antagonist (watch this space for a review!) and he’s currently in talks with a reputable publishing company. To add to the success, his music has been played on numerous music channels including Daily Grime and Spiff TV. Best of all, famous musicians are talking  about his work!

His latest offerings, Closure is about an interracial relationship that goes wrong due to family intervention. Featuring Lifford, who sang on ARTFUL DODGER’s Please Don’t Turn Me On, Closure is a super smooth track that gets you hooked on first listening – so it’s not hard to see why reputable musicians are sitting up and taking notice of this hip-hop upriser!
