New Track: Make It Back – Yogy x Pvali

Among The Bay Area music scene, is a serious hip-hop contender by the name of  YOGY – (You Only Got Yourself). His poetic lyrics with a delivery that is emotionally driven, filled with deep and punchy metaphors, captures the very essence of what makes the Bay Area talent original and special.

YOGY raises the bar by teaming up with producer Pvali through a new sizzling hot track, ‘Make It Back,’ with a head-rolling bass that instantly hits the spot.

New Track: Kiss Me (The Innov8tors Remix) – Violeta Skya

VIOLETA SKYA has teamed up with producers The Innov8tors to give her disco/funk single ‘Kiss Me’ an Ibizan dance makeover.

The original version of ‘Kiss Me’ earned the Lithuanian singer a spot on NEW LEASE MUSIC’S Top Ten Songs of 2017, ranked #9.

The Innov8tors are no strangers to the spotlight. The EDM and Trap duo’s collection of music is used by network giants such as MTV, Discovery Network, Fox Sports, PBS and VH1…and if you haven’t of them, well here’s your first taste.

Song of the Day: Magenta – Shenna

SHENNA makes her entry on NEW LEASE MUSIC with a rather sultry and 80s funk-inspired track entitled ‘Magenta’.

Hailing from Virginia and currently residing in the Big Apple, SHENNA has been causing a stir, clocking up features in Examiner, PopDose, VH1,  MTV’s Finding Carter, The Bad Girls Club,Teen Mom OG , and indie film Miss Stevens .

‘Made of Gold’, the title track of her debut album, reached over 150,000 streams after being included in Spotify’s DiscoverWeekly playlist. The synth pop vixen has made her mark playing festivals and shows in Washington DC, Canada, and recently London for a tour in advance of the official release of Magenta last month.

New Track: Feeling You – Island Apollo

Acclaimed indie rock collective ISLAND APOLLO released their new infectious track ‘Feeling You’.

Produced by Eric Lilavois (Saint Motel, Atlas Genius), the single features driving drums, layered vocals, upbeat guitar and synth bass riffs. ‘Feeling You’ is an anthem of true loyalty and devotion, Kilpatrick “it’s a song about standing by someone even when they’re at their lowest point: because that’s really when they need you the most”.

New Track! My Place – SleepLust

In the span of less than two years, songstress/poet Meghan Tartamella and twin brothers Michael and Joseph Pepe -aka – SLEEPLUST – has become one of Los Angeles’s most exciting and sought after indie electronic pop outfits.

The trio released their debut self-titled EP in November to critical acclaim and commercial success. Recorded in their hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina, the five track release is an homage to the band’s roots, hometown and the major transition periods in life we can all relate to. “The EP really speaks to those shifts in emotions, priorities and relationships. It’s about coming more into ourselves and feeling safe in who/where that is.” Tartamella says wistfully.

My Place sleeplust

Their latest single My Place is the first song written and recorded in the band’s new home of Los Angeles. The three-and-a-half minute production displays the band’s unique trademark, which combines brooding electronics, wandering synths and heavy bass, all brought together by Tartamella’s sultry yet focused melodies.

This Spring,  SLEEPLUST’s music will be featured on major cable networks such as MTV, VH1, E! and Oxygen. The band is also busy headlining select West Coast tour dates and playing festivals this summer.
