International electronic trio under:tones open a bold new chapter in their musical journey with their debut album ‘Encounters’, arriving March 2026. Their first single, ‘Dreaming (Wide Awake)’, marks the inaugural release on Through ‘Dreaming (Wide Awake)’, a freshly launched label dedicated to forward-thinking, emotionally rich electronic music. This milestone not only sets the tone for under:tones’ evolution but also celebrates the birth of a new creative platform bridging cultures, genres, and generations.

Blending cinematic textures, euphoric rhythms, and soul-stirring vocals, ‘Dreaming (Wide Awake)’ marks a defining moment for under:tones, a project that moves seamlessly between dancefloor energy and introspective atmospheres. Written and recorded between California, the UK, and Italy, the track embodies the group’s signature sound — analog warmth meets digital precision, driven by emotion and storytelling.

Sun-soaked and dream-drenched, the song feels like a golden hour reverie. Reeves’ airy vocals float over lush synth layers and a pulsing beat that pulls you in before you realise you’re moving. There’s a bittersweet nostalgia in its tone — a longing for a past summer, a rush of first love — yet a hopeful, life-affirming energy runs through every note.

The music video, directed by Cristina Principe, is set in Los Angeles and brings this feeling to life through the eyes of Zeno, a 14-year-old navigating adolescence under the constant surveillance of social algorithms that track his every move, thought, and mood. The film captures fleeting moments of escape; wired headphones, laughter with friends, surrendering to music, reminding us that real connection and freedom still exist beyond screens and systems. Shot with a cinematic lens, the visual feels like a coming-of-age short film, perfectly matching the track’s dreamlike yet uplifting atmosphere.

They share; “For us, ‘Dreaming (Wide Awake)’ is that golden-hour moment when life feels too vivid to be real – when you stop imagining and start living your own story. It’s about clarity, love, and the thrill of catching up with your dreams.”

Through The Void Records was created as a home for projects that aims to become a hub to launch Italian artists internationally, as well as to introduce global talent to the Italian and European scenes. The release of ‘Dreaming (Wide Awake)’ serves as the label’s official launch, setting its ethos: music that moves both the body and the heart, bridging underground club culture with timeless songwriting.

Following their debut EP, under:tones step boldly into a new era with ‘Dreaming (Wide Awake)’ — with a full-length album envisioned as a series of sonic short films exploring connections across cultures, emotions, and generations. Born from the dynamic contrast of their musical backgrounds, Obsidian Cane and Gizella continue to champion their love for Drum N Bass, carving out a fresh, genre-defying sound that is unapologetically unique and unmistakably their own.

A prolific producer with a standout resume, Obsidian Cane has crafted music for artists signed to Warner Bros, EMI, Parlophone, and worked with major UK broadcasters including Channel 4, BBC One, and BBC Two. He also made waves in the UK Garage scene with the club hit ‘I Need A Rhythm’ as one half of the duo KP. With ‘Addicted’, Cane delivers a smooth fusion of Drum N Bass and Jungle, layered with delicate, Far Eastern-inspired melodies and a subtle yet infectious groove.

Gizella – the underground scene’s “vocal chameleon” – is known for seamlessly crossing genres with her spellbinding delivery. Since her 1998 vinyl debut ‘Express Yourself’ on Gotcha! On ‘Addicted’, she effortlessly captures the emotions of a hopeless romantic, with her vocals playfully weaving through the summery rhythm with undeniable charm.

This latest release follows the duo’s well-received singles ‘Never Change’ and ‘Crazy World’ — both praised across the music press. Producer Jason Griff and rapper Rapswell drop brand new track, ‘Drop The Addy’

After sporadic collaborations on projects like ‘Fireside Chats 2’, NY-based lyricist RAPSWELL and Chicago producer JASON GRIFF have finally come together for a five-song EP full of high-energy, rebellious tracks aimed at both having fun and screaming “fuck the system” at the same time.

‘Drop the Addy’ is the second single for the EP and it’s a short burst of concentrated frustration and adrenaline directed towards the current state of America as Rapswell proclaims: “Fuck Elon and Donald son, it’s no time for subliminals, we don’t need a king, they gotta go- it’s that simple.” Griff’s production combines a fluttering flute loop with bouncy drums and thunderous bass, creating a soundscape for Rapswell to proclaim “Fuck the felon plus the punk, he’s just another giant cuck, I’m at the drive-in setting fire to some Cybertrucks.”

‘Drop the Addy’, along with their first single ‘Sissy Spacek’ feat. Jesse the Tree, is out now on all streaming platforms. The full EP ‘Heart of Gold’ will be released on 14th July.

Philadelphia’s label MIPARIS MUSIC delivers a soothing treat for devout jazz lovers, which forms latest single, ‘I Love Me Too (Smooth Jazz Remix)’, out now across various music platforms. The heavenly instrumental features the internationally renowned saxophonist and artist CARL COX.

The single was originally performed by neo soul singer Carol Roddick in 2023, which received attention from soul and smooth jazz radio stations across the globe. Now it’s Carl Cox’s turn to take centre stage with the breath-taking slow jam. So here’s your to close your eyes, unwind, and immerse yourself in the soothing melodies of his saxophone. Let him to guide you on a journey of self-discovery and love after enduring the pain of a breakup or the loss of someone dear. It’s all about forgiveness, healing and finding freedom.

Recorded at MorningStar Studios, remixed by Glenn Barratt, ‘I Love Me Too (Smooth Jazz Remix)’, was produced by Dexter T. Moore and Michael Upshaw. The single features a stellar lineup of musicians, which includes Mark A. Walker on bass guitar, Bart French on acoustic guitar, Dexter T. Moore on keyboard and drums, with Michael Upshaw and Carol Roddick as backing vocallists.

With an impressive career, spanning over 20 years, Carl Cox is undisputedly one of most celebrated saxophonists in modern times and has performed alongside some of the biggest music icons, including Smokey Robinson, Maysa, Incognito and Gerald Veasley. His mesmeric performances with the saxophone have been featured on a variety of major Grammy award-winning recordings, live performances and features on national radios. As a solo artist, Carl’s singles have earned numerous top spots on Billboard chart over the years. He is currently teaching high school music and sharing his passion of performance to his younger students in his hometown, New Jersey.

Founded by singer Michael Upshaw in 2012, MiParis Music is an independent record label, which explores a diverse array of genres, including inspirational, smooth jazz, R&B, and progressive styles. The label has featured notable musicians such as world-renowned bassist Gerald Veasley, Grammy-winning saxophonist Kirk Whalum, bassist Mark A. Walker, guitarists Jonathan DuBose Jr., David P. Stevens and Blake Aaron, along with Carl Cox in the MiParis Smooth Jazz Volume 1 project. MiParis Music also featured a line-up of incredibly talented artists which includes R&B, jazz, and Neo-Soul vocalist Carol Riddick and gospel and inspirational singer LeJuene Thompson on various projects.

MiParis Music has received widespread acclaim from jazz and soul radio stations across the globe with singles, ‘I Love Me Too’ (2023) featuring Carol Roddick and ‘Duke’s Stroll’ (2023) by Mark A. Walker. Paying homage to the late great George Duke, the gleeful instrumental features Grammy-nominated producer and keyboardist Chris “Big Dog” Davis and Philip Lassiter, a former section leader and arranger for Prince & the New Power Generation and an 11-time Grammy-certified horn and string arranger. ‘Duke Stroll’ spent four consecutive weeks at #1 on CHBN Playlist Chart in the UK. ‘I Love Me Too’ spent over four weeks in the top 20 of Soul Good Radio Charts.

As a recording artist, Michael Upshaw had the honour of re-recording the song ‘My Soul Has Been Anchored in The Lord’ by the late gospel artist Douglas Miller, featuring Grammy-nominated saxophonist Gerald Albright. Alongside running MiParis Music, Michael also collaborates with keyboardist and producer Dexter T. Moore, in performing, co-writing, and co-producing various projects under their production company, 1VisionMusic Productions.
