Liquid Slams Down A Brand New Banger, ‘Hard Labor’

Stephen James Hawley – aka LIQUID – is a co-founder and member of the Internationally acclaimed and Juno award winning Montreal collective Bran Van 3000. Best known for their smash hit, ‘Drinking In LA’, LIQUID is back and smashing through the walls and barricades with his new track, ‘Hard Labor’, released last Friday (8th November)

On a cold fall day, LIQUID sat on top a local terrace, having just demolished it in entirety. He sat amidst the brick and demolition on his lunch break and said aloud: “That’s Labor!” “Hard Labor!” His recently released from custody boss hollered back at him: “It’s Hard Labor!” He repeated with a toothless grin welcoming LIQUID to the rubble.

“That’s what I’m gonna call my next album!” Liquid proclaimed! “Hard Labor!”

Birthed amidst the brick and mortar, ‘Hard Labor’ was born. Swinging a sledgehammer, with pick at foot, the foundation was created.

LIQUID call upon Rench, the Brooklyn based producer and frontman of the Billboard charting band Gangstagrass. The Emmy Nominated producer of the theme song for the hit TV show ‘Justified’, created an alternative fusion of  bluegrass, country, blues, rock and rap, reflecting the blood, sweat and tears of a working man’s journey.

‘Hard Labor’, the title track of his upcoming EP,  sets the pace for an engaging, prolific journey through the eyes of a man; a dreamer, working hard for job creation, to better his future.

Louis La Roche Will Make You Feel ‘Better’ With Latest Single

Born and based in the UK, producer, remixer and DJ LOUIS LA ROCHE puts a playful spin on the “breakup song” through his latest single, ‘Better’ borrowing the vocals of Lucy Pearson.

Released via his own imprint Ever After Records, the nu-disco meets French House banger isn’t the type of song  to listen to during a breakup;  it’s a song to listen to when you’re ready to go out, dance and release all tensions as you forget about past loves fails. The funky synths permeating throughout maintain the high level of energy required to counteract the somber lyrics. With a rhodes piano solo featured, meeting heavy R&B flavours, the producer has created the perfect take on the modern pop sound.

Often compared to DJs, such as Dimitri from Paris, La Roche has previously provided official remixes for artists such as Basement Jaxx, Aeroplane, Lemaitre, Fred Falke and NICOLAAS and received support from tastemaker Youtube channels Spinnin Records, Mr Suicide Sheep, Majestic Casual, and Mr Deep Sense and publications such as Mixmag, DJ Mag, Your EDM, Magnetic Mag and Data Transmission. The British talent has received over 40 Million Youtube views, with his remix for Crystal Bats receiving over 1.8 Million views alone, and over 23 Million plays on Spotify. Louis La Roche has also supported Kylie Minogue on her Kiss Me Once tour, and shared the stage with Armand Van Helden, A-Trak, Aeroplane as well as 2ManyDJs.

East London Songstress Teeah Teams Up With Awarding-Winning Rapper Sarkodie For ‘Zengeh’

Exactly a year after her surprise soulful Afro-Jazz debut single ‘Save Me’, which caused a stir in the UK Afrobeats landscape, East London singer/songwriter TEEAH is back with her brand new single titled ‘Zengeh’, featuring the recently crowned 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards ‘Best International Flow’ winner Sarkodie.

The soulful Afro-fusion track sees TEEAH in her sultry element, highlighted by her captivating vocal performance and sweltering lyrics, while Sarkodie is consummate as ever, delivering one of his best guest appearances of the year.

Born in London of Bajan and Southern African heritage, TEEAH began singing at the age of ten, before going on to perform backing vocals for Hugh Masekela, Amy Winehouse, Mel B, Fred Hammond and Misha Paris, among others, performing at Love Box Festival, Royal Festival Hall, Channel 4, and X Factor UK. Over the years, she put her music career on hold for a more behind-the-scenes role in events and PR, but fast-forward to 2019, and TEEAH is now ready to share her exciting talent and music with the world…

‘Zengeh’ follows the release of the critically acclaimed house track ‘So Good’ and the neo-soul slow burner ‘Space & Time’ earlier this year and is taken from her untitled debut EP, which is due for release early next year. For her forthcoming project, TEEAH has worked with producer and longtime collaborator Delirious (Tinie Tempah, Lady Leshurr, and Stylo G).

Molly Hammar Releases Captivating New Single, ‘Shortcuts (I Can’t Wait)’

Swedish chart-topping R&B sensation, MOLLY HAMMAR is back again with her new single, ‘Shortcuts (I Can’t Wait), released via Cosmos Music.

Molly’s latest offering opens with the soft trickle of piano keys and laid-back R&B melodies, while Stockholm-born songstress’ smoky vocal captivates with unwavering honesty about the ongoing struggle of chasing her dreams.
