Jay Jody Steps Out As Solo Artist With ‘Sunset Stories: A Mixtape’

As a former member of SA Hip-Hop duo, B3NCHMARQ, and his part in the collaborative project BLUE TAPE, with brother A-Reece, JAY JODY is now ready to introduce himself officially as a solo artist to the South African Hip-Hop scene via the newly established Revenge Club Records in his upcoming debut mixtape, ‘Sunset Stories.’

The Tape features a host of notable features from A-Reece, Una Rams, Blxckie, Marcus Harvey, and more, placing Jay Jody’s effortless talent in the spotlight. “I’ve realized we’re all part of a big story. Janïsa Takes A Leap Of Faith In Brand New Single, ‘Dive In.’

A year into the pandemic, soul singer/songwriter JANÏSA was really clinging onto the faith that life was going to get better and the loneliness and isolation she felt would be replaced by healthy interactions.

Her latest single, ‘Dive In,’ is about the need to trust now more than ever. This song has given that much needed strength to the Canadian native as she unfortunately lost her home of 13 years to a devastating fire. Although she felt displaced as a result, she still had the courage to carry on.

The music video for ‘Dive In’ was shot along the beach at the Scarborough Bluffs, featuring friends and family in the water witnessing janïsa undergoing a ceremony of baptism and rebirth.

Lady Pulse Lures Us With Single, ‘Who Loves You (Who Do You Love)’ – Out 21st October

Following the success of lead offering ‘Rhythm Stick,’ hot track ‘Who Loves You (Who Do You Love),’ is the second single release from LADY PULSE’s forthcoming album ‘No Romance Without Finance.’ This multi-talented vocalist/choreographer/performance artist has caused quite a stir and garnered critical acclaim when she dropped her debut album, ‘Absolutely Ruthless,’ less than a year ago.
