Song of the Day: Hero – Klaudia Keziah

Upcoming songstress KLAUDIA KEZIAH confronts the difficulties of modern-day dating, in her latest unapologetic-yet-sultry single named, ‘Hero’.

With the aim to inspire and empower many women around the world, Klaudia Keziah has delivered a slice of sensual heaven that enables women to feel confident in themselves. Underpinned with a pop and R&B infused production courtesy of Jojo F (ArrDee, Deno, Tion Wayne, Sarkodie, Unknown T), the single is paired with a set of old-school visuals that contrast against the displeasures of modern-day dating; the black-and-white-washed shots don’t distract from the message laying beneath the upbeat production.

Speaking on the meaning behind the track Klaudia commented, “For me, ‘Hero’ was inspired by a conversation I had with my girlfriends about how some guys slide into the DM’s or even cat call us women in the street. They’re “flexy” approach from the jump about how much money they have or what car they drive is not impressive because I can get those things for myself. A lot of the lyrics are things men have said to me or my friends from experience and through the song I almost get to answer these situations from my point of view.”

Gaining previous support from Wonderland, Raydar Magazine, Industry Me, DJ Ace at BBC Radio 1Xtra, Radio 2’s ‘Funky Playlist’, Voice FM, Wordplay Magazine, We Are Beyond Noise, BBC Introducing, The Hype Magazine and more, ‘Hero’ follows up from the 2021 release ‘Dedicated’ that swiftly caught the attention of various tastemakers and publications. Growing up between England and Lithuania, Klaudia from a young age sprouted a love for music when picking up both the cello and piano. Now a self-taught producer, songwriter and singer, the budding talent has built a growing fan base that are eager for her next move. With more music on the way, Klaudia Keziah is ready to showcase the world her music!

Song of the Day: Kick Back – Theo Tams

THEO TAM‘s single, ‘Kick Back,’ is an effortlessly cool piece of R&B-laced pop which finds the artist reflecting on the beginnings of a relationship. As a self-described overthinker, Tams decided to actively choose a relaxed approach.

The single’s confident bassline and interweaving melodies underlie Tams’ message that we need to stop trying to convince others that we are worthy of their time.

‘Kick Back’ is a reminder to show up and be yourself, trusting in the knowledge that the right person will love the magic you have to offer. Check it out below…

Song of the Day: Trust Me – Analise

ANALISE is an 18-year old singer-songwriter with the world at her feet. The New England born folk-pop songstress has been fixated on writing and the different forms it can create, and has been officially releasing music for two years. Three releases to her name already, including ‘Rooftop’ has gained a lot of traction on Spotify alone, surpassing the 100k mark, showcasing Analise’s talent at still such a young age.

Highly influenced by the likes of YEBBA, Daniel Caesar and Dijon, Analise pulls in those artists and draws her own lines in her potent songwriting. Co-working and producing on all releases so far, she now returns in 2022 with the beautifully stripped back single ‘Trust Me’. Taken from her debut EP set to be released alongside, she was recently accepted into the renowned Berklee College of Music, where she has been perfecting her craft.

Acoustically driven and melodically flowing from the off, ‘Trust Me’ is both vulnerable and shows a real authenticity to Analise. Her vocals take centre stage in this one, and are simply breathtaking as she ebbs and flows through the track, picking out melodies that are way beyond her years. She immerses you into her dreamy folk-pop atmosphere, and the production from Doug Holzapfel (Jesse McCartney, Akon, The Outfit) shines through in this minimalistic yet powerful offering.

An all encompassing artist at still such a young age, ‘Trust Me’ is yet another example of why Analise is going to be one of the breakout artists in 2022.

Analise says that ““Trust Me” is a song built on emotion. This song highlights the complexity that lies in young love – trying to understand our growing selves while trying to give ourselves to someone else. It can be so encapsulating to love and to be loved at such a vulnerable time that when it ends, we can feel very alone.

It’s easy to take that sadness and manipulate yourself into thinking the other person doesn’t care or feel the same. But when you connect so closely with someone else like you do in young relationships, feelings might go away – but that care doesn’t. “Trust Me” is about failing to align and wanting to be there for someone who won’t let you.”

Song of the Day: When We Were – Lexi Jordan

LEXI JORDAN takes a trip back to the school days with single, ‘When We Were’. The emotive single, that’s immediately compelling, sees the rising Country-Pop artist New England becoming increasingly appreciative of the carefree days spent during the high school years.

Lexi Jordan began her career by conquering her fear of performing at Faneuil Hall in Boston, Massachusetts back in 2016. This led to a self-revolution far beyond what Jordan ever imagined possible. She continued on to perform at Indian Ranch, “New England’s Home of Country Music”, and The Big E, the sixth largest fair in the nation. In 2017, Jordan accepted Female Vocalist of the Year by NECMO. She was also nominated for five 2020 Worcester Music Awards and accepted the “Best College Act” award.
