Get Away with Wish Master’s Double Video for ‘Mindfulness’ & ‘Far Away’

Hotly tipped Bristol lyricist and founder of Official Recordings, WISH MASTER (the guy in the middle; see the above video clip) has unveiled visuals for ‘Mindfulness’ and ‘Far Away’, taken from his third album ‘The Bull (The Best Underrated Living Legend)’.

Two tracks in one, the double-bill music video for ‘Mindfulness/Far Away’ sees the MC cycle far away into the countryside to boost his mindfulness. Fellow Bristolians PatchUp Productions capture the adventure amazingly, joining Wish by the sea for a contemplative classic.

Wish Master was named in BBC Music Introducing’s Ones To Watch 2019, leading to him recording at the BBC’s Maida Vale Studios. He’s also supported Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah, but awards and accolades aside, his experience in the game is best expressed through his own music.

SPRTYK Reveals Visuals For Critically-Acclaimed Single, ‘Bad Temper’

When SPRTYK (pronounced Sporty K) pitched her latest single ‘Bad Temper’ for Spotify playlist consideration, it was selected for three editorial playlists (Spilled Ink, Mellow Bars, Alternative Hip Hop) and two algorithmic playlists including the coveted Discover Weekly. Those editorial and algorithmic playlists have driven the track to nearly a quarter million streams.

The accompanied visual – shot in her native Bronx – follows the emotional highs and lows of a top female draft pick / artist-in-bloom determined to win against all odds as she fights to escape the all too familiar “angry black female” stereotype, giving the two-finger gesture to the oversimplified characterisations of being hostile and overly aggressive.

Besides establishing herself as a formidable rapper, SPRTYK is also the CEO of STAR CLUB ENTERTAINMENT where she works as the creative director and stylist for other acts in New York’s eclectic scene including A$AP Ferg and Privilege New York.

‘Bad Temper’ forms part of her upcoming ‘Because I Feel Like It’ project, SPRTYK is set to continue being one of 2020’s favourite new music discoveries.

Jeffrey James Shares ‘Aftermath’ Video

Nashville-based musician JEFFREY JAMES unveils the official music video for his new single, ‘Aftermath’. Working within the creative confines of lockdown, Jeffrey pieced together home footage of himself and his wife in Trouville-sur-Mer in Normandy, France. A sweet, authentic glimpse into James’ own love story, the video brings the romance of the piano-driven ballad to new heights.

The new video comes on the heels of Jeffrey James’ appearance on NBC’s Songland, where Jeffrey worked with Ryan Tedder on an original track titled ‘We Could Be Heroes’ for Country legend Martina McBride.

Earlier this year, Jeffrey released his ‘East London’ EP. Recorded in London with engineer Geoff Swan (Charli XCX, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay) and producers Jackson Dimiglio-Wood (Shawn Mendes), Dan Weller (SikTh), and Dan McDougal (Liam Gallagher), the 5-track record beautifully fuses Jeffrey’s Nashville influences with the UK’s blue-eyed soul sounds.
