Get Away with Wish Master’s Double Video for ‘Mindfulness’ & ‘Far Away’

Hotly tipped Bristol lyricist and founder of Official Recordings, WISH MASTER (the guy in the middle; see the above video clip) has unveiled visuals for ‘Mindfulness’ and ‘Far Away’, taken from his third album ‘The Bull (The Best Underrated Living Legend)’.

Two tracks in one, the double-bill music video for ‘Mindfulness/Far Away’ sees the MC cycle far away into the countryside to boost his mindfulness. Fellow Bristolians PatchUp Productions capture the adventure amazingly, joining Wish by the sea for a contemplative classic.

Wish Master was named in BBC Music Introducing’s Ones To Watch 2019, leading to him recording at the BBC’s Maida Vale Studios. He’s also supported Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah, but awards and accolades aside, his experience in the game is best expressed through his own music.

Song of the Day: Out Of Sight (Out Of Mind) – Francesca Louise

London-based singer/songwriter FRANCESCA LOUISE‘s single, ‘Out of Sight (Out of Mind)’ is her most exposing song from her latest EP, ‘Melancholic Antidote’, a collection of personal experiences, life lessons, emotions and growth.

Straight to the point, the ‘Out of Sight (Out of Mind)’ is about becoming dependent on love and the denial of feelings due to the fear of vulnerability and potential heart-break. It touches on insecurities of giving your heart to someone else and the risks and dangers that are involved in being transparent with your feelings for another person.

Originally from Liverpool, Louise has seen success having supported the likes of Nashville based indie folk-rock duo The Harmaleighs, brit-pop band Echobelly at St Pancras Old Church in London and Juanita Stein, the former singer of Howling Bells. With radio plays and live sessions with BBC Introducing and independent radios alike, as well as taking festival slots in 2020, Francesca Louise is making her way up the musical ladder and is showcasing her capabilities across the UK.

BBC 6 Music-Approved Duo Betty Pulls A Fast One Shares Upcoming Single, ‘PlantHunter’

After receiving a firm backing from the likes of BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson, alternative electro/pop outfit BETTY PULLS A FAST ONE (BPFO) are back with full force for their first release of the year titled ‘PlantHunter’.

An airy bed of lo-fi electronics introduces the three-and-a-half minute piece, providing the perfect platform for the delightfully askew vocal performance – which puts you in the mind of 80s pop band Orange Juice and 90s alternative rock band Pulp – to claim centre stage.

BPFO consists of Mal R and Jon K, who came under the radar with their 2016 debut song ‘Today I am Prince’, followed up by their debut album ‘Dressed in Birds’ released in 2018, which chronicles unrequited love and how the planet seems to be set on course for a downward spiral.

The album included their first official single ‘It’s Her Kindness (That Turns Me On)’ which was played on BBC 6 Music and described as ‘classic songwriting’. Tracks from the album have since featured on Lonely Oak Radio, Wolfman Radio and Radio Candy.

As well as providing vocals for BPFO, vocalist and songwriter, Malo Ramsoir has appeared on Hungary’s national Petőfi TV and has also recorded with musicians in the UK, Argentina, Hungary and Spain. As vocalist, he also makes one half of the electronic duo, LiiN.

Songwriter and musician Jon K also has another project up his sleeve with an instrumental collection of music under the name S.W.O.R.N.

Available on all major music platforms from 25th March, ‘PlantHunter’ is the first release from their album, coming out later this year.
