New Music Video: Angel – Tillz x Chaser Tre’lb

This time around, CHASER TRE’LB (pictured right) teams up with fellow spitter Tillz for the music video to latest track, ‘Angel’.

Sampling from Anita Baker’s 80s hit of the same name, the visual shows the pair giving an insight into their unflappable determination to work around the clock to put food on the table for the family.

CHASER TRE’LB was previously featured on NEW LEASE MUSIC with a string of tracks, including ‘Teach Me’, ‘My Dreams’ and ‘New Drug’ which was rank #10 on the NEW LEASE MUSIC Top Ten Songs of 2016.

Watch the video for ‘Angel’.

New Track: I’ma Hssla – B. Eveready (ft. J.Charles & Mike Body )

Born and bred in Boston, charged up worldsmith B. EVEREADY enlisted fellow musicians, J. Charles and Mike Body for his brand new single, ‘Im’a Hssla’, out last week on Bandcamp.

Reminiscent of that smooth 90s hip-hop/R&B, this emcee unsurprisingly tells the tale that he’s more than ready to grab the spotlight.

Hailing from Nas To Marvin Gaye – and everything in between – as strong influences, his nostalgic trademark has earned him a string of performances with heavyweights, including The Last Poets, Skyzoo, Torae, Emilio Rojas, Talib Kweli and Jin The MC…so you’re dealing with something REAL here; check out ‘Im’a Hssla’.

Song of the Day: Rich in Spirit – St. Jude (ft. Mike Kalle)

ST.JUDE is back with ‘Rich In Spirit’, the second single from his upcoming and highly anticipated LP, ‘Natural Progression.’

Featuring the award-winning and bi-lingual lyrical talents of Mike Kalle, this track oozes positivity and is testament to the fact that you don’t need cash to be wealthy. Both emcee’s tackle the topics of self-improvement, the importance of family and staying true to your art.

‘Rich In Spirit’ encapsulates a sense of optimism in uncertain times and delivers poignant content in both English and Spanish. This combined with the soulful, boom-bap production of Canadian producer, Think, gives the bouncy track a summery vibe.

‘Rich In Spirit’ is now available for download exclusively on from 4DPresents.

Album Review: Wond3rland – Dizzy Rambunctious

Unlike his previous project, ‘Arcadia’, which loosely takes inspiration from the theme tunes from classic arcade games, DIZZY RAMBUNCTIOUS switches it up and takes a complete detour with his latest mixtape, ‘Wond3rland’.

This time round, the New Jersey producer has adopted a real sublime soulful/rare groove-ish vibe to his usual trademark – that hip-hop/boom bap woofer of a bassline.

Now if you’re a follower of this guy, then you know he only deals with instrumentals – and you’ll also know he always hits you right between the eyes with a surprise – he recruited a few guest vocalists/spitters for this mammoth collection, which was most welcomed ( just have a listen the 6th track, ‘Zion’ featuring Phi & Shrls.)

I gotta give it to him; DIZZY RAMBUNCTIOUS has really stepped up his game – go and have a trial.

Must Listens: Wond3rland, Cosmic Gramma, Zion, Get on Down.

Song of the Day: Crank – Khaos Brown

Coventry seems to be blazing with upcoming rappers these days – and we’re not talking about the type that sold their soul to the mainstream: last week, NEW LEASE MUSIC featured upcomer ShadowCV6, who broke the taboo and went right in to address male mental health, through his latest single, ‘Not Alone.’

Now it’s KHAOS BROWN‘s turn to steal today’s limelight. The rapper/songwriter started out in secondary school as a release for the feelings and came to realise his friends and family related to his work, pushing him to go into overdrive. The result, is a pretty dope discography…and track ‘Crank’ is one of them.

Categorise as ‘realist rap’ by the hip-hop upriser, the three-track offering is accompanied by a crisp black and white visual which gives a glimpse into his reality…trust me on this one; it’s worth checking out.
