Watch SB’s Video For Track, ‘New New’ Featuring Lavida Loca

UK Rap royalty SB joins forces with fellow female rising star Lavida Loca for hot new collaboration ‘New New’.

Showcasing her effortless flow and cadence, it’s evident more and more with each release that SB is undoubtedly one to watch when it comes to the UK’s flourishing Rap roster.

Lacing a .Nathan. produced instrumental with real, raw and raucous energy, the pair each spit no-nonsense bars with impressive delivery.

Born and raised in Tottenham, North London of Jamaican heritage, emerging UK Rap artist SB has been making noise amongst a thriving female Rap scene since late 2020.

As a woman raised in the streets, having overcome an amalgamation of trials and tribulations, SB was compelled to share her experiences through music, empowering and enlightening both her male and female counterparts with her endearing truth.

Her raw and unfiltered art for storytelling is what sparked SB’s initial buzz, and is what continues to keep her name firmly on the lips of many real Rap fans in the UK.

In a short time, SB has impressively racked up a string of national radio play, features and articles from the UK’s leading music platforms, and co-signs from some of the industry’s most notable artists and tastemakers.

Asem Comes Through With Infectious Track, ‘PEW PEW’

An infectiously deep trap/drill bass line introduces Nana Wiafe Asante-Mensah – aka – ASEM’s latest joint, ‘PEW PEW.’ Released on December 15, the track is quickly enticing both fans and new listeners.

Although the track can be described as atmospherically dark, the rapper still maintains his famous vibrant flow, jammed-packed witty, and laugh-out-loud wordplay. Before ‘PEW PEW,’ Asem had already shared the stage with big acts like Ja Rule, Fat Joe, and Rick Ross. And it won’t be surprising to see him on top very soon.

Now out on various music platforms, ‘PEW PEW’ is the third and final release from Asem’s forthcoming EP ‘Weather Channel’ – be sure to look out for that!

In the meantime, have a listen to the fiery joint below…

Song of the Day: Vibe – Arrested Development (ft. Big Daddy Kane, Cleveland P Jones & Tasha LaRae)

When it comes to boombap and classic rap, there isn’t anyone who does it like the trailblazers, name-makers, and ground-shakers like ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT and their latest single, ‘Vibe’

The 2x GRAMMY Award-winning hip hops group credited with a culture-shaping 30 years of experience, Arrested Development was the first hip hop group to ever receive the GRAMMY for Best New Artist while also receiving one for Best Rap Single; the song of honour was their anthemic, prayer-like track, ‘Tennessee’ — which has gone on to be named by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as one of the Top 500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll.

Speaking of honours, this timeless group of performers and collaborators were recognized at the Black Music Honors Awards in September of 2019, and have continued to perform in sold-out venues in every part of the world for the past three decades.

Featuring Big Daddy Kane, Cleveland P Jones, and Tasha LaRae, the single ‘Vibe’ lands ahead of the forthcoming album, For the FKN Love — which was primarily produced by British Production and boombap specialist, Configa.

Stellar collaborations in their own right, the features ‘Vibe’ also preview what’s to come for the new release, set to spotlight other timeless names of the industry, such as The Sugar Hill Gang, Masta Ace, Freddie Foxxx, Monie Love, Kxng Crooked, G Love (G Love and special sauce), Tony Momrelle (Incognito), and Dee-1 plus Fatman Scoop.

‘Vibe’ is available now on all DSPs. Check out the official video below…
