New Track: Feels Good – Tiny Boost

TINY BOOST gives us the first taste of his forthcoming project, coming in the form the heavyweight track ‘Feels Good.’

Known for his hard bars, direct and straight up delivery and ability to narrate us through his real-life experience and situations, the SN1 rapper comes through with a dark, looming beat coupled with gritty lyrics.

Since marking his return with debut solo mixtape release last Summer ‘Strictly For The Streets’ with features Giggs, K-Trap and Suspect, TINY BOOST has prepared and arsenal of new music that is set to make waves in the streets, radios, and clubs with his uncompromising sound.

TINY BOOST started out in PYG before Giggs took him under his wing, seeing the talent that he had to offer, taking him to film with tastemaker Westwood whilst he was still at school before there was even such a thing as crib sessions. He featured on Giggs’ 07 mixtape ‘Welcome To Boomzville,’ the legendary ‘Walk In Da Park’ and later on the pairs collaborative mixtape ‘Who Said Datback’ in 2009.

Song of the Day: The Way You Love – Rèe Cliene

South London born singer-songwriter RÉE CELINE graces the blog with her debut single, ‘The Way You Love’ (#TWYL)

‘The Way You Love’ may be her first offering as a solo artist, but Rée has been enchanting audiences with her silky, soprano vocals for years. Often compared to Ariana Grande, H.E.R, Jhené Aiko and Brandy, the young songstress has worked on the UK Music scene providing backing vocals for Buddy, Jermain Jackman, Yxng Bane and Charlotte.

Showing lyrical and vocal maturity at just 19 years old ‘The Way You Love’, (#TWYL) explores themes of her first love and the idea of being lost in love. Through this silky smooth joint, Rée was inspired by diverse influences such as Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Brandy.

Out now on all download and streaming sites, ‘The Way You Love’ is taken from her forthcoming  EP ‘Deserve’. Check it out below:

Album Review: Grinder – Oloff

If you’re a regular visitor to the blog and have heard OLOFF‘s previous releases, then you’ll know that he’s not your average rapper. To take his music to another level, OLOFF has recently dropped his experimental hip-hop album, ‘Grinder’, the first release he produced single-handedly.

A jarringly racy bass is the main feature of the seven-track set, which rips through the equally racy soundscapes, predominantly made up of rampant urban/EDM tones. The Bristolian, who usually sports a laid back and wayward flow, brings on a freestyle that’s delightfully aggressive which adds more spice to each track in the collection.

After recently listening to his previous albums, personally I wouldn’t say that ‘Grinder’ was OLOFF‘s best work, but I do admire his interpretation of alt-hip-hop and appreciate the amount of work and effort he has put into this mini collection.

Song of the Day: Get Stupid – Bülow

Award winning and multi-platinum pop iconoclast BÜLOW  has graced the blog spotlight with her newest single/video, ‘Get Stupid’. The track is off the JUNO Award winner’s latest EP ‘Crystalline’ released earlier this year and was produced by Mike Wise, who produced several songs on the EP

‘Get Stupid’ follows her last appearance with single, ‘Sweet Little Lies’, which stole the blog’s Song of Week title THREE times and was also named Song of the Month in July (check out more top releases of the week and month on Instagram).
