Song of the Day: Triple – Madison Paris (Feat. Bobii Lewis)
Following a fruitful 2018, seductive songstress MADISON PARIS drops her latest single ‘Triple’ featuring London singer Bobii Lewis into today’s spotlight.
Having launched herself into the scene just over a year ago, Madison has already proven that she’s here to stay with supporting slots for Cadet and M.O, being the face of Footasylum’s Nike Utility Boot campaign, as well as an undeniable series of massive tracks ‘Excuse’, ‘Rum & Wine’ (which was BBC 1Xtra’s Introducing Track of the Week) and her most recent heater ‘Oh Mama’ featuring Micah Million. She is most certainly carrying on this trajectory into 2019 with new banger ‘Triple’, which see’s Madison deliver her trademark spicy vocals over a passionate trap-infused instrumental courtesy of Sokari.
With the track gaining an US radio premiere by LA based, on air personality and member of the budding YesJulz! empire, Alaysia Navarro on Dash Radio, as well as a UK premiere from BBC 1Xtra’s DJ Ace, ‘Triple’ shows her impressive ability to blend genres including R&B, pop and trap is well-received not only in her home turf but in the lucrative LA scene.

New Track: Miss You (Under Shimokita Sky) – Garden City Movement
Tel-Aviv based trio GARDEN CITY MOVEMENT release their new single ‘Miss You (Under Shimokita Sky)’ – a dreamy electronic number released via Late Night Stories.
Mixing an eclectic blend of sounds and styles, ‘Miss You (Under Shimokita Sky)’ is a masterful indie dance anthem. Utilising a combination of dream-like vocals and languid electronic beats, the trio’s masterful production and lyricism touches on the significance of passing time, relationships and loneliness in the modern world.
GARDEN CITY MOVEMENT (Johnny Sharoni, Roy Avital and Yoav Saar) broke through at the end of 2013 with the launch of their debut single ‘Move On’. After the successful release of multiple EPs and stand-alone tracks, the band’s popularity skyrocketed, recording live sessions for Boiler Room, Majestic Casual and FACT, as well as opening sets for Bonobo, Caribou and alt-J.
This year now sees the artistic collective embark on their first tour of Japan and Tawain – exploring the cultures and climates that inspired the track’s release…have a listen below:
