Jessica Wilde is proving to be a songwriter of true grit. As Jessica bares testimony on her new single, she sweetly tells how a recent partner. Her soulful refrain, “If all you want is my body, then imma find somebody, who wants no body but me” will resonate for many women.

Wilde further explains, ‘I had this relationship that was a real wake up call. It hit me… why did I keep attracting these guys who only seemed to care how my body could please them? Why don’t I celebrate my body instead of looking to them to validate me? So, I made a vow to myself that I would love ME first, this song is that vow!’.

Out now on download and streaming sites, ‘Body’ will form part of the South Londoner’s yet untitled album/mixtape due later this year.

Song of the Day: How Did You Get In My Bed – Entity

Natalie Diaz, the brainchild behind ENTITY, has entered onto today’s hot spot with the soft and rather sensual single ‘How Did You Get In My Bed’.

An ode to the familiar feeling of waking up somewhere you wish you hadn’t, the New York native explores the fickle complexities of reuniting with an ex whose emotions are still prevalent. Using punchy synths and commanding percussion, the indie pop track emulates the confusion that she is feeling with ease, with the dreamy melody perfectly aligning with the heartfelt lyrics about her first love and how it was a moment of realisation for her personally. Knowing she has fallen for another woman, this was Natalie’s breakthrough, finding out about her sexual orientation and that she can love both men and women.
